I sure have! It doesn’t seem to have any system to make the same contest every month.

You can have the same contest each month-based on badges earned. Make the dates 1 day past the end of the month. On the last day of the month, gather your results, and change the dates of the contest to the next month + 1 day. That way, you can edit the contest details and access the winners.

OR...set up 1 Leaderboard and use the date changes there with the same contest, Badges and availability. This might help the competitive spirit of your targeted group if you make the Leaderboard visible!

still sounds like effort every month. seems like a solid idea to have defined time periods for contests that auto reset and start anew. 

I agree with the consensus here that monthly gamification tasks can be quite a bit of work.

We do leaderboard awards for targeted programs on a quarterly basis as a way to strike a good balance for learner engagement and administrative bandwidth requirements. Such a cadence might be worth considering.
