Specific User Group Menu created, not showing in navigation bar
Hello DC,
Happy New Year :)
I would like any feedback, input or duh you missed this call outs for a hiccup I am in today.
I created a menu for a specific user group and provided visibility to that specific user group.
I also assigned it to the super admin menu for my view.
I assigned the pages to the menu and published it.
But, I don’t see it appearing under my hamburger navigation list.
Can anyone see what I am not seeing; or catch what I am missing and help me out please?

Hi. Happy New Year!
Don’t forget the menu that you first ‘match’ from top to bottom of the menu list is the one you will see. So, along with visibility, these two things must line up.
Without seeing your system directly, I would suggest checking on which menu you are seeing when logged in and if that includes this new page you want to see…
Hope that helps. Kind regards, jeanette
Thank you Jeannette!
I am sharing viewing the superadmin menu, and am included in on all the menus for the visibility.
Yet, am unable to see it.
I checked to see my user status as well and all seems good there.
I set up 3 previous ones and all work perfectly; but this one is stumping me :(
Am at my wits ends to understand what I am missing here.
With gratitude for being so kind to take the time to help me out,
Susmitha
If you add some images, it might help us track it down. If not, I would suggest a ticket to support.
Attaching image here. I just submitted a ticket as well.
Let me know what other images I could share to get the best recommendation from you?
Thank you once again.
Try putting the new menu first. See what happens.
Hi,
I would recommend trying @Irodman suggestion to put the menu concerned to the top of the menu list.
There are six other menu sets on top of it. If your target users are part of any of the visibility group above it, your menu will not show.
Then, you can trouble shoot the group assignments from there.
My two cents.

@caycocho, @lrodman, thank you for the recommendations.
I tried it, but had no luck, either in the same browser or in incognito either.
Very grateful,
Susmitha
Did you check to make sure the desired people are in the group?
can you clarify what you mean by “But, I don’t see it appearing under my hamburger navigation list.”
personally I’ve had issues with putting too many criteria in for menus.
Try having it ONLY visible to superadmins no other criteria.
try making the menu visible to a group containing just you. Try this with criteria superadmin and try it with it containing a regular user who you log in as in another browser. Superadmin criteria caused issues for me.
Also I find it helpful to use two browsers in this sort of testing. One where it is me and one where I am truly logged in as a user, without impersonation.
This might sound dumb, but did you make sure the PAGE is published?

Not dumb! I have made that mistake many times. And I’m in Mensa!
@cathyp I did publish it.
@lrodman I will try your suggestion and keeping my fingers crossed :)
Hmmm….In the MENU SETTINGS tab: - Did you assign the specific group to both the Groups and the Branches? (Then down below is the Levels tick box Users clicked?) - In the DESKTOP MAIN MENU tab: Is your new page added under Menu Items? - Finally, is the order of your menus at-a-glance set so that it’s visible to your specific group (this one always gets me!) Keep us posted, we all need closure! LOL
@Susmitha Valvekar make sure that you check the branches. as in the Superadmin menu at top has 4 branches and the newly created SDC Care+ menu only has 2 branches.
Here are my menus as an example.
Note I have a fallback “backup” menu for all users at all 3 levels at the bottom. I’ve had a variety of people not get a menu for unclear reasons multiple times so I just have that now to protect me.
I find it good to have backup systems in Docebo.
@Nicole oh boy am I trying hard to get to the closure point me; I will share it the moment the wonderful Docebo Support helps me figure it out.
@Jeremy.DeLong , the menu is set for a specific group and as the superadmin menu includes a visual into this menu as well. That’s how I set up my other specific user menus as well- Examples DSO Resources and Private Partner Resources. They work like a charm. I did the same here and am stumped.
@lrodman now that’s another great tip and I will be sure to incorporate that into my best practices and action items as well. Merci!!!!!!!!!
I promise to be back with the non-mensa stuff I probably did and also with the fix :)
So grateful for this amazing community.

Were you able to get a menu for superadmins only to display to you by putting it up too?
Try with just a group or just a branch too. you could make a group that equals your users if groups work
