We have a search bar on our home landing page that does not offer result; only get a “Whoops no results” message regardless of key words. I have tried catalog names and course key words, same result. Not useful to have search bar that does not work.
Right now i have to select a course catalog widget or other widget to go to that page search bar to finally get resulting items but would like feature to work from Home page.

Are you referring to the global search bar located at the top of the platform?

Sounds like a widget is giving this result? Do you know which widget it is, maybe a screen shot of home page and destination for context would help. It is probably a either a misconfiguration of the widget, or a user that does not have access to the items that the widget is programed to show.
