The Issue:

One learner's CE credits were missing from their certificate, while others received it correctly. This happened because the learner's status was manually marked as Completed in an ILT course, bypassing the system’s usual CE credit assignment process.

Why It Happened:

Docebo certificates pull CEU values from the course's “Credits (CEUs)” field at the time of issuance. If the user is marked complete manually, the credit might not be tied to their record — so the certificate generates without it.

How to Fix It

Regenerate the User’s Certificate

If the certificate was already issued and missing the CEUs:

  1. Go to Admin Menu > Certificate Templates
  2. Click the Issued Certificates icon beside the template
  3. Find the learner, delete their old certificate
  4. Select the learner again, then click Issue certificate

This re-generates the certificate and correctly pulls in the CEUs.
