Here’s everything you need to know about the NEW Ideas portal
We recently moved to the new course player and have found that tests include large white margins of unused space. We have test questions that include images. The images are too small for learners to see and cannot expand into these margins. We are brainstorming possible solutions to this issue and would like to see if anyone can offer additional ideas. Our ideas so far have included:Learners zoom in via the browser to better see the images. Add a link to the images so they open in a new tab. This requires learners to navigate back and forth between tabs. Rework our test questions to remove the images. The following screenshot is an example of one of our test questions. You cannot click on images in tests to view a larger image in a pop out as you can with my screenshot in this post.
We are enhancing the offerings our LMS provides and I have recently taken over managing the LMS. I found that we previously did not have accurate data points in our automated reporting for elective vs mandatory learnings due to previous courses not being given that course setting in the Course Management section. I want to know if anyone has any advice on a way to potentially make this an easier process rather than going through all the courses we have manually and changing the setting in each one? Would save me a lot of time and sanity if so!!!
Hi! We are wanting to revamp our public catalog course pages by adding videos to the page to highlight what the courses are about. Has anyone had any luck with this before? These videos would need to be accessible to anyone viewing the public catalog course page without logging into the lms.
We’re excited to announce that Power Users can now access Insights! A new permission for Power Users is now available, allowing you to select which users can view and create dashboards. A new feature within Insights allows you to assign dashboards to specific Power User profiles or individual Power Users. These users will only be able to see the dashboards—either standard or custom—that have been assigned to them. Each dashboard accessed by a Power User will automatically be restricted based on their assigned resources. For more information on these updates, please refer to the Assigning Dashboards article in Docebo Help. "Assigning a Dashboard" is the first sharing feature we've released, enabling you to share custom dashboards with other Super Admin users. Additionally, the Visual Library experience has been enhanced with a more streamlined user interface. We believe these updates will empower you to scale analytics effectively with your stakeholders. We’d love to hear your feedba
Hello. When we create new reports and export them to XLS, the background job is created properly and after some time we download an empty XLS sheet. No data ever populates for around 24 hours, there is definitely data in there.Does anyone know any tricks to speed this up so it populates upon report creation? Thanks

There is a bit of setup required here. BackgroundWe hold a biweely webinar series where learners can join in live in the session or watch the recording. Attending/viewing at least 4 of these sessions is a requirement. Under the hoodWe have built this as a learning plan that contains a series of ILT classes. Each ILT is for a single webinar. So students only have to enroll in one class ( the learning plan) and then they can see a list of both the recorded and upcoming webinars. They can then pick the sessions they want and join when they are live or watch the recording In the ILT’s we have a single session with a single event that ties to a teams meeting. After the webinar is completed we post the recording. So once a learner is in the session they get credit for either live attendence or viewing the recording. We use a badge that a student earns once they have completed at least 4 webinars. THis makes it easy for them and reporting easy for us. The issueThe problem we have encountered
This post is meant to be an attempt at helping folks implement a slider type of widget with images that cycle through in an endless loop. No interaction. Down the road, I will offer one that has some manual selection to it. That is why this is titled as option 1.There has indeed been a number of postings referencing Comslider as a great resource for this sort of thing. I have not used it personally but I would venture a guess that it is much nicer and simpler than what I am about to offer here but this is free - so I guess you get what you pay for - LOL. At any rate - I figure that for some folks - Comslider may not be an option. If that is the case - you have one here. This is a CSS and HTML option - no JavaScript. This would still require some work on your part to tweak it for your number of images and to put in your image URLs - etc. I will try to help with that part as best I can. Here is a quick look at the one I built as a sample. Sorry it is a little small and blurry but I had to
I’m curious what everyone would do if you could start over? Or if anyone has actually started over and what their experience was with that?
Newbie here. Please help! I need to report on 3 onboarding learning plans. The report needs to show the courses contained in each learning plan, the learners, and their progress in each course.
Hi all! I wanted to use the new Advanced Mode feature for the Insights dashboards (detailed here: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/21041334736018-Using-Advanced-Insights), but I can’t seem to find the option to toggle into the advanced mode. I’m supposed to see this in the builder mode of a custom dashboard: But this is all I get: Is there anything I have to activate in the backend to get all the features available for Insights? Is this a paid addition? Thanks!
For the past few hours, I have been searching this community page for a solution, comments, or recommendations pertaining to the completion of the vILT session.I assume you are aware that the vILT session will be marked as finished as soon as participants join, but this should not be the case. Our instructors verify each participant's hours spent and update the enrollment status in Docebo based on our TEAMS report at the end of each session. This results in an extra step, and our instructors feel uneasy conducting sessions via LMS.At the moment, Docebo offers the options to "event as attended when learners join the session" and "access the recordings" for attendance; however, it has no control over preventing irregular users from completing.I tried manual, evaluation, attendance-based, and training material session completion methods, but none of them worked for our training requirements. How do you manage your virtual ILT session completions? Appreciate your inputs.
hello allI am playing in our sandbox as I am experimenting with course forums and setting up SMEs to receive notifications that colleagues have posted either a comment, discussion or thread but it is displaying errors around the email recipients. I have enrolled myself an instructor in a test course and enrolled the test.create user as a participant. The email I added in the notification is our orgs training email used in the production site. Before I completely do a deep dive would the email/notification function not work in the sandbox and I would perhaps be better creating a test course in the live?
Hello,I am currently building a dashboard for my powerusers. On one hand, I don’t need the filters, which are only available in English (and not in the localization tool). Is it possible to completely hide the automatic display of filters or disable filters entirely?Additionally, the "Tutorials" button in the header is also bothering me. I would like to hide it as well. I tried hiding the entire row (which would also be a good solution), but I couldn’t manage to do it with CSS. Does anyone have a solution for this?BR Robert
This one is fairly geeky, from someone that is half way dangerous. I dont know how to play cards (= develop like a software developer short of some client side tricks), but I know how to read the value of the cards on the table.Below is simplifying a problem, but lets say:we have a clean and stable url pattern for a PDF on another server. The PDF is a form that collects a username for Docebo. The server that serves up the PDF does have an API. And the API supports being able to pull values from the PDF. The API also supports knowing the submission ID and document ID (parts of the PDF url). The goal is to show the view only of their PDF in Docebo itself. It seems like we have many of the right components to setup a view from the other server:we can iframe into a course onto an HTML page If we cant do that we can iframe onto an HTML page widget We also have Docebo Connect so we have someways of doing automation. In theory when a person submits that webform, we will use webhooks to trig
Does anyone know of a way to see which courses, or specifically training material within a course, that an instructor or admin marked complete for a learner?I have a learner that I’m doing an audit on and I’d like to see what they’ve completed vs. whats been marked complete for them.I’ve tried getting this information from a Custom Report, the Reports tab of the course, and the Audit Trail with no luck.Any ideas are appreciated, thanks!
We need a way to notify users when they’re enrolled in a learning plan, but I also need to exclude specific groups from receiving these notifications. Ideally, I’d like to set up a rule for group creation that allows for exclusions, like adding everyone except users with a specific domain (e.g., *@example.com). I haven’t seen this capability in the system so far, but maybe I’ve missed something. Do you have any ideas on how to achieve this?
