Here’s everything you need to know about the NEW Ideas portal
Hi All,We have been recluctant to introduce the new course player, because our users don’t like change. Now that the use of it is ineviteble, we are doing testing and I am finding the waiting list for ILT course sessions to be confusing to look at from the enrolled course screen. It seems to simply tell you that you are on a waiting list, but not say what session you are on the waiting list for. Does anyone have any customizations or insights into how they make this work for their users?
The countdown to 2025 is on, and we’re excited to share the 2025 Product Update Release schedule! We’re keeping a streamlined release schedule that was designed to make managing platform updates a breeze. Streamlined Major Updates: We’re focusing on five major releases this year, okay, one is sliding into early 2026, giving you plenty of time to adapt and plan ahead. More Time to Prepare: Updates for Customer Sandbox (where applicable) will continue to arrive up to eight weeks before General Availability. Weekly Maintenance: Bug fixes will roll out on a weekly schedule to keep your platform running smoothly. Some weeks will focus only on routine maintenance with no feature updates; in those cases, no community post will be shared. 2025 Release Schedule Customer Sandbox Product Updates No Sandbox Starting February 24 | All platforms updated February 26 Feb 17, 2025 Starting April 14 | All platforms updated April 16 M
Hi - Enabling Focus Mode turns it on by default for ALL existing courses (that was the experience when I turned it on in Sandbox). When it goes live we would like to use it for some courses at first. Will there be a way to turn the feature on, but NOT auto-enable it universally for all existing courses in our prod environment? Thanks you.
We have been announcing it and sharing details over the past few months, and now the time has finally come to make the transition to the New Course Player! The old course pages will remain accessible until the major production release in December 2024. As of December 4, they will be retired and all users will be switched to the new course page. We know that change can be stressful, which is why, along with the communication already published, we have created this guide to get you to the deadline with complete peace of mind. To properly manage this change, follow these 5 steps: Get to know it: Read the dedicated article we recently posted on our Community to get a complete understanding of all the major changes and improvements. Enable yourself: If you have not already done so, start familiarizing yourself with the New Course player, checking out the layout of the new pages and how they work. You can activate the New Course player just for you (in preview or sandbox mode). Check whet

With the latest updates, we found that all labels have been changed to sentence case...is there a reason for this? Will this be fixed at a later time?@erin.brisson Any thoughts?

We have what we think might be a unique situation with the RSVP recipe of the Outlook Connector. The connector is actually doing exactly what it should do but the way Outlook seems to be working might be causing it to not pick up when someone accepts an invite.Context:We have a partner program that requires the person trying to be certified to undergo a live, virtual session with an assessor to test their skills and knowledge. We schedule these in our LMS and send them invites via the Outlook Connector. These partners are often working as contractors for other organizations that cannot afford the full time headcount to hire someone directly. This means that the partner has two email addresses: one for their permanent company and one for the company they are contracting with. We typically don’t know where these people are working so we are usually unaware of the second email address. The user enrolls in the training using their permanent email address as that’s who they work for an
I’m wondering if anyone has done this already. I would like to have a calendar embedded on a page that showed all the different events coming up. Colour coded for different types of things eg lunch and learn, workshop, social etc, and as you clicked on a session it gives you an option to add it to your outlook calendar, not download a csv. Basically we want to have a single calendar in a central place that shows all the available events and makes it really easy to sign up.I’m pretty sure it’s not possible. I have embedded an outlook calendar on a page but it wasn’t great. Thanks
Hi, does anyone have any tips for updating the Udemy recipe in Connect to bring a specific list of courses? Or any other helpful best practices to consider as we implement this into our instance? Thanks!
Dear Community,We are exploring ways to interface with Docebo to enable bulk exporting of our upcoming training schedule. The goal is to provide our partners with an easy method to display the training schedule directly on their websites.Has anyone implemented a similar solution, perhaps integrating a schedule from Docebo into their own site? We’d love to hear about your experiences or ideas!Thank you!
Does anyone know how to use CSS Coding to: Get rid of the Share & Add to Playlist button on the Virtual Training (ILT), eLearning, Learning Plan page on the new Course player before enrollment? Get rid of the Share button after Enrollment on Virtual Training (ILT), eLearning, Learning Plan page on the new Course player. Remove the Learning Plan ID (I was able to do this for courses but have been unable to apply the same CSS codding concept to remove it from the Learning Plan page). Thank you in advance! I have tried a few options on my own with no luck and am running out of time! Courtney
Is there no option to mark participant no shows as “not attended” rather than unenrolling them? Most LMS systems I’ve used keep this data and it is valuable for historical look backs.
We have spotted a problem in the new course player (not sure if anyone else has already raised this). We have a number of e-learning courses that are mandatory and require renewal every X years. The new ‘Retake this course’ button in the course player allows people to do the course without it registering their new attempt, or their completion (resulting in in their renewal date not changing). The ‘renew this course doesn't look like a button and blends in with the banner. so our staff will miss this. Can we remove/disable this button.Help!
