We have a few Customers that have questioned why the Waitlist wording.  After they enroll in a course and placed on the waitlist, the screen reads ‘Course with waiting list.  You are enrolled in the course waitling list.  Your adminstrator has to approve your enrollment.’  This is Docebo wording.

People are questioning ‘Your adminstrator’ thinking it is their own Admin verus it is our company Admin that have to process the enrollment.  Does anyone know where this wording is being pulled from or been successful in changing it?

Yes. We changed it.
Navigate to the localization tool -

Module:
standard
Key:
You will be placed in the course waiting list till your manager and/or Administrator approves your enrollment

(This is the message users see before they enroll in the course)

I encountered this problem as well, and at first attempted to use CSS. This worked to a degree, but was ultimately not the solution as it cannot properly function with elements that appear as a result of user action - some language would remain even when reverting to an un-enrolled state, which would only cause more confusion.

My solution was the Localization tool, under the Admin menu. Select that, navigate to your language (ours is English only), and paste the exact current text into the search bar. This should produce the instances in which that language appears and allow you to alter it. I have had no issues with this approach.

Thank you both for the information. I had tried to find in Localization but now that I narrowed to ‘Standard’, it was found.

Greatly appreciate the quick assistance!

@cheryl.theis - you can change just about everything that the system shows you in words with the localization tool. The trick is to find it. My previous organization made changes to the login screen and ILT course status values.

It is pretty handy, the search function is a big help with tracking down what to change, and then testing to make sure it was the correct item.

Admittedly the most challenging part.

The localization app is where you can make these and most label changes. A tip is to maintain a log of the changes you make with the original code and text in case you need to adjust or change it again in the future.
