Search for Sessions In Multiple Courses

Is there a way to search for sessions among multiple ILT courses?

One of our training programs is actually a series of 5 ILT courses. Within each ILT course, is a session for the cohort going through the course series. The session title within the course is the cohort name (“Cohort 22” for example).

Is there a way to search for all session for a specific session name and see what sessions are scheduled for the cohort across all 5 ILT courses?

Right now the only way I know how to do it is to go to each of the 5 ILT courses and search by course name to manually build a list of the 5 sessions.

@Ira Hall - you can’t search that from the front end. I had a report setup that would be delivered to me every Monday with ILT Course and Session info. It was set to automatically show the next 3 weeks of courses and 1 week back.

I had it filtered down to the basics that I needed. Then every Monday I saved that to my desktop, replacing the previous one. I always had a handy reference. Only impacted if we built more sessions that week.

You should be able to do the users-session report, and set filters of multiple courses on it to pull in all the applicable sessions and then filter based on cohort titles.  Keep in mind that you can only view certain information in the session report.  Often I will run a Users Courses report for the same courses and then merge the two to get a complete picture between course data and session data.

Good luck!

@Ira Hall ,

You can multi select courses and select "Export Course Details" from the Choose Option to export course data. You can choose to include session, event details, course properties in excel/CSV format. Please check if this helps

Agree that the export is more reliable as it will also show sessions that have no users enrolled vs. the report that only shows sessions where users are enrolled.

Sadly, there is not an effective session management workflow in Docebo.  You would have to do as others have suggested and export the data (via report, export details, or API) and do your search from there.  We have been asking for Session Management (outside of course to course management) as its own thing for years…

I agree...in our case we had to request a customized query-based report to have a quick way to check all the sessions.
