Request for Last Data Refresh Timestamp in Insights Dashboard

Hi Team,

Yesterday, I completed a course but only saw it marked as "Completed" today - after raising a support ticket. While investigating further, I came across the data refresh policy which states:

“The data found in the dashboards are refreshed once a day. So, dashboards might not fully cover the data of the previous 24 hours. Similarly, when selecting a filter for your dashboard, the filter will not show any data until the following data refresh.”

However, the documentation does not specify the exact time of the daily refresh, nor is there any visibility into when the last refresh occurred.

Given these two points, I'm concerned that data latency might lead to confusion—or even questions—when this information is shared with leadership via the Insights dashboard.

Is there a way to add a widget or visual indicator within the dashboard that shows the last data refresh timestamp (Date, Time, and Time Zone)? This small addition could go a long way in reinforcing the credibility and trustworthiness of the dashboard data.

Thanks in advance!

That's a great idea! We added verbiage warning of the 1/day update, and estimated the time based on times of what does come through. But your suggestion would be a much better solution.

Thank you!

We're closely tracking the progress of a specific set of courses over a limited number of days, and it's a global effort. That means every hour counts, as managers across time zones are actively monitoring and driving completions around the clock. In this context, either the data needs to be near real-time, or at the very least, the dashboard should clearly display a timestamp indicating the last data refresh.
