We use just a one-question quiz. 

I think this is part of the idea of using e-signature. We didn’t enable it because we have too many people who can’t BTOD. But we do a simple attestation.

Have yet to set anything like this up in our system (just now soft launch) but a Survey with mandatory question is an option. Set it as an end object marker if desired and navigation to sequential. Put it in the CLOR and then you can just add it to the courses you want it in. 

Curious - If you have all the required components in Docebo - is it not being tracked already for you?

In other words - If Docebo notifies you that someone has completed all the content, why do you need another artifact saying it was done? Wouldn’t Docebo reporting completion be enough?

We do this for some of our Compliance training courses, instead of using e-signature. 

We have an Acknowledgement statement with all the terms they have to agree to (from our old days of having a printed Acknowledgement form they would fill out and sign) and give them an I AGREE or I DISAGREE option as the answer choices.  Obviously, they must select I AGREE to “pass” the test and be marked as complete for the course.  To add to this, we also use the old form as a certificate on the course and pull in their name and completion date in place of where they used to sign and date the paper form.  We don’t require them to print and turn this form in, but since it’s on their record for the course, they can save/print a copy of it if they want to and our Compliance/Auditors can view them when needed as well.

Sometimes there are attachments like a policy that the learner needs to download and read. Docebo can track that you downloaded it, but not that you opened it or read it.  For compliance and regulatory, it is better to have something where the learner acknowledges that they have read and understood and agree to comply. 

The single question “quiz” does seem to be the easiest option, then. if “Yes, I understand and comply” is the correct answer and 100% is needed to pass… You have both things - the personal attestation and the tracking. WIN - WIN

We offer CE classes for an organization that has a requirement that the learner specifically checks a box or signs their name to a form  claiming that; not only are they the person they claim to be taking the class, but they attended and completed the session.

Apparently they have had issues where people were hiring someone else to take classes for them.
Yes I’m serious. 

We have used a SCORM in the past.  The user has to interact with it and select “I agree” or click the attestation check box.  Not doing that will not complete the SCORM, thus leaving the course in progress, so we know that the user has actually touched the course.

A single question in a Docebo quiz also works the same way.
