hi.just noticed yesterday that there is no logical linkage between the expiration date and the user status, so technically, unless manually updated, a user can still remain active despite their passed expiration date.business wise i don’t see any coherence in that, but anyway, did anyone manage to create such automation between the expiration date and the user status? i’d like all users whose expiration date is reached to change their user status to deactivated.Expiration date is updated via HR interface based on daily batch file and using docebo connect.thanks for the help, ben.
For folks that went to Inspire 2023 there was a session about SCORM, xAPI and Content practices in general. It was pretty good - we were walk through best practices of generating content and how to work with it.At one point I raised my hand and asked how you get that fancy question level type of CMI interactions into the system where it is a human readable format for consumption (essentially a training material question/answer level report). And @KMallette shouted out from the back of the room SCORM 2004, v3. She stopped over and we met for a first time in person :). I expressed it has been eluding me since we starting working with Docebo. We chatted about what could be the problem - and the conversation did not leave me.I am here to say that @KMallette is right. But there are some things to take into consideration to trigger that report properly.First and foremost, where I was going wrong? Do not set a trigger to complete your course. You want the completion criteria to be a person pas
We are looking to manage the percentage of enrollments available in an ILT course (or session) based on region/location and then on cost center. We currently have our branches set up by cost center. If we create an ILT course with 1 session that has 100 seats, can we reserve a certain number of seats for particular users to self enroll into? And once those seats in the session are filled, the user in that particular region & cost center would be added to a waitlist? i.e reserve 10 seats for EMEA CPG. 7 seats for APAC finance, and 3 seats for Americas HR etc? If not - looking for ideas on how to manage this without having to enroll users from the admin side. We want them to self-enroll on a first come first serve basis.
We have multi-day training workshops where the attendee is registering for the entire workshop. They are not allowed to pick and choose between the agenda items and they are required to attend both days. ILT needs the ability to create multi-day events where the attendee only has to enroll once and it’s clear that the attendee is registering for all required days. I have submitted the idea (see link above), so if you think this would be useful to you, please upvote it. In the meantime, does anyone have suggestions or best practices on how your’e handling this system limitation?Thank you!

Hello! Outside of adding a Test, Observation Checklist, or Survey to be completed at the end of a Course, are there any other options for a user to select that they “have read and understood the Course content”? So far, I have not been able to locate other (simpler) options.Thank you!
Hello world! Does anyone know if it is possible to reset the due date of a course without changing the enrollment date? We have many people who have not completed manadatory courses but, having passed the deadline, they no longer appear among the to do list on the homepage. Thanks in advance! Edo

Hi everyone, I’m Roberto Moscatelli from the Docebo Support team and I would like to share the steps to download training materials from previously uploaded into the platform.Even if it’s not possible to download a content from the UI, you can do it via API.This document describes what content can be downloaded and how. What type of content can I download? Not all content previously created/uploaded in the platform can be downloaded. The content that you can download are: SCORM XAPI Videos (video uploaded or screen recording, you cannot download a “Youtube, Vimeo or Wistia” video File Slide converter (you will only be able to retrieve the JPG files of the presentation) HTML Page Please also note that for security measures the link is temporary, not permanent Must conditions To be able to download a content you must: Enable the “API & SSO” app on the platform Be enrolled in the course in which there is the training material Download the content As said before, currently
We are currently testing the new course player functionality in our sandbox, but we want to get ready to release to everyone. If you have released it to all of your users, I’m curious to know:How it was received by your users? Any questions or issues that are coming up from your users? Did you do any communication to your users about the new course player? Or did you just turn it on?Excited to hear from others about this!
We have a lot of updates to materials that need to be trained out, so we’re trying to keep all new training materials for updates in the course where the original material resides. But we then hide the ‘update’ version so the learner doesn't see it there but goes to a separate course to complete - we do then see their completion of the updated material in the background of the course report. This works well for eLearning we do, however there is currently a need for the learners to be given an update by a trainer and so we are running an ILT. Is there a way to pull the evaluation results of an ILT into a course as a training material? (I’m guessing not, but thought I’d check)
Hi there I’d love if anyone has an answer for this question below. Tried reaching out to help chat but didn’t really get a proper answer. Via the API how can we edit the LEARNER’s learning plan end date? Assume a learning plan expires after 6 months and if the user purchases a extension for another 4 months how can we streamline this to make it automatic via the APIs to update the user’s learning plan end date? I know we can manually do this via the learning plan tab in the admin portal but I am looking for an automatic way. Would love any feedback. Thanks.
Hi all - I’m new to Docebo, but not new to LMS and workplace learning. I’d like to know how others handle calendaring for ILT / VILT events. I’ve set up my first VILT in the system, an 8 week course that meets every Friday. I’ve set it up as a course with one session and 8 events.Upon successful enrollment, learners are sent a notification that includes a calendar attachment. When the user opens the calendar attachment, it creates a new calendar in Outlook called Untitled. The 8 events are saved in the Untitled calendar as 8 separate events. Here are the issues that I’m trying to resolve:The event is in a new calendar and not in the learner’s calendar so the time is not blocked out. The user must copy it or invite themselves to the event. If the event time changes or is cancelled, the user’s copied calendar entry does not update. The workarounds appear to have users add their Docebo My Calendar as an add’l outlook calendar (this resolves the sync issue) and invite themselves to each ev
I’m trying to figure out what is allowed as an endpoint in this situation: Can I put in a webhook URL here, email address, or ?? What will the payload look like?I can’t find documentation of what is being sent other than this that mentions some authentication methods:https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082520#h_01FHZ4KH2C9Y0RWVH46EDS5N0A
I am sure there’s a way of doing this elegantly - I even think I’ve seen it done in the Docebo Uni - but I can’t quite work out how.I am using Adapt Authoring Tool to create SCORM packages and ideally I’d like to do the following:Create a series of single page SCORMs Add a link to the end of the first to link it to the next directly, so the learning doesn’t return to the course page.Does anyone know how I need to set it up. I seemed to have created a monster where it starts loading the site again inside itself….
Is there a way to show the total training credits to be earned by completing the Learning Plan? Each Course has Credits. Is this feature available for Learning Plan too? Based on the course completion is Learning plan, total training credit gets added to the learning plan.
As I search the knowledgebase, I am unable to locate an article that distinguishes catalog search from global search. After testing, it appears that global search performs differently (more powerful) than catalog search. For example, searching in global brings tags into the fold when returning relevant results, but catalog search seems to ignore tags and only prioritize title + description. Is this true?We are moving toward the decision to suppress global search and rely solely upon a catalog search for our learnings, so it would be helpful to understand search functionality in catalogs to help inform our content strategy.
Is anyone having issues uploading new SSL Certificates via the new Domain Management for the extended enterprise? In the past, I would request a new certificate>download CSR>upload CSR file to Godaddy SSL>download certificate and upload to the extended enterprise. Now I am not sure where to create a CSR file for this. Does anyone have any tips or solutions?Thank you in advance for your help!!
