Hi everyone 👋I’d love to learn how others are managing last-minute learner cancellations for instructor-led workshops in Docebo.We’re currently facing a challenge where learners often unenroll very close to the session start date. This creates additional costs and operational overhead for our team, and it’s also extremely difficult to track consistently, which makes it harder to manage the issue and improve the process over time.I’d be really interested to hear: Do you have a cancellation policy in place for ILT sessions? How are you enforcing this policy within Docebo? Are you using any specific settings, automations, reports, or workflows to track late cancellations or no-shows? Have you found any approaches that successfully reduce last-minute unenrollments? Any examples, lessons learned, or Docebo configurations you’re willing to share would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Somehow this escaped my attention for a while, since none of my Power Users brought it up, but I accidentally discovered that though my PUs can create new groups, they cannot activate them. And they cannot add users to the group until they’re activated. And I cannot give them this right.So what’s the point in letting them create groups they cannot use? They have to reach out to me every time they make one to request activation, wasting their time, wasting my time. Please help me understand why this is a logical workflow. Why can’t I just give them authority to activate their own groups, which wasn’t even a thing like a year ago?

Currently there is only the option to export the ILT attendance register in PDF.Is there currently a way, or will there be the option in future, to export in .xml/.csv?  

Hey everyone,looking to have an admin receive an email notification once a specific course is completed. only way I could find was to mark them as a course instructor and message them once completed. We have a few admin’s and don't want the email go out to each of them. Any ideas how to set this up? 

Hi all,I’m looking for workarounds or best practices for sending surveys after a learner completes a VILT session.Goal:A learner enrolls in a VILT → completes the session → is then directed within the course to complete a survey. The survey should only become available after the session is marked complete.I’m hoping to keep this workflow within a single course rather than creating a learning plan, since this is just one VILT.Has anyone found a good setup for this? Any tips or configurations that have worked well for you? Thanks! Addendum: Support has confirmed that ILT courses cannot unlock training materials individually per learner upon their session completion. 

I have found a few posts stating organizations have successfully integrated between the two platforms but I am interested in hearing the content being communicated and what you have utilized to successfully integrate this communication. Our desire is to have skills communicated from Workday with course, certification and learning plan communicated back to Workday to help provide validation of skill proficiency being tracked there. We cannot do skill tracking in Docebo, as we do not want the users to be the ones altering the skill pathways. This will fall to the managers to modify and track.Thank you for your insights!

Authenticated as a regular user, I want to get all the courses I have enrolled in and they should include the enrollment status as well.The only alternatives I’ve found are:Using /report/v1/mytranscript (GET). However, for some reason, it excludes courses that are of status “waiting”. Using the unofficial /loki/widget/v1/courses/{user ID} (GET) which is used in the Docebo UI. Is this safe?I know of /course/v1/courses/enrollments (GET), however, this cannot be called by a regular user (it leads to permission denied). This leaves us with no official, fully working, option that I know of.Any help appreciated.

Hello! I have some experience in HTML/CSS, but not a lot in how to make it work with Docebo’s UI tools for creating custom widgets. I was curious how the rest of you are formatting and placing your CSS, the best way to incorporate images, and any other recommendations you have! For example, are you placing the CSS for your HTML widgets in the advanced settings for advanced look at feel, inserting a <style> <head> element for the HTML of your widget, or placing them in line with your HTML? For images, what is the best way to place them, and how have you gone about making sure they are visible. In addition, if anyone has a list of supported/unsupported HTML tags in Docebo, I would greatly appreciate it!

When you add a new course to an existing learning plan are learners who are currently enrolled in the learning plan automatically enrolled into the newly added course or do I need to do this manually?

Hi All - Wondering if we do not have something set up properly? When our supervisors go to their My Team page, they can see that some of their team has course overdue, however when they head over to the courses tab, it’s showing that nothing is overdue?     

We are looking for a solution that enables us to capture a pre-training intake, a post-training evaluation, and a follow-up evaluation after training. The goal is to group and track the results per user, allowing us to measure the actual impact on each individual over time.While Learning Evaluation supports post-training and follow-up, it does not currently support pre-training surveys, which means we cannot fully cover the desired evaluation flow through learning evaluation. we’re wondering if other people have a similar requirement and how you have resolved this.

We use the image widget on some of our pages because the entire image can be a link. We know the image widget doesn’t meet accessiblity standards. We have found this the best option based on what we are trying to accomplish.An October update allows alterative text to be added to image widgets. We want to add this for accessibility purposes. Unfortunately, a tooltip displays on the page when alt text is added to the image widget. We don’t want the tooltip to display. We don’t know CSS and were given something to try..pages-widget-page .single-widget img[alt]:hover { pointer-events: none;}This doesn’t work as it also prevents people from being able to click on the image, which is a link. Does anyone know of CSS that would prevent the alt text tooltip from displaying for image widgets AND allow the image to be clicked?

What’s the easiest way to unenroll a user from multiple courses?  We have HR team members who show other users how to enroll in courses and as a result are now enrolled in dozens of courses that they won’t ever actually take.  Is there an easy way to unroll a user from a large number at once.

Hi Everyone, I am hoping for a little more insight on this one. I have a couple of Power Users that are assigned to the same profile. Both have the same branch path and Resource assignment: All courses and Learning plans applied. One of the users created a course and the second one cannot see it in course management.  Do we also have to add the course to a catalog even though both PU’s have the All Courses and Learning Plans resource assignment? I didn’t think that I would need to since we did not choose the All courses and learning plans in visible catalogs resource option. Most of what I have been reading within the community mentions adding the courses to a catalog.  Thank you for the help!! 

Is this a known issue? See attached gif (videos cannot be uploaded here).This occurs when you edit the content within a text box in course management in the details text editor box. If you add an emoji, even just one, all of the text within the box will erase, even after the confirmation window appears that it saved successfully.I did open a ticket but out of curiosity, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?It took me a little while to pinpoint exactly what was erasing the content as there are not any character limits or warnings but after a little testing, I realized it happened after adding even just one emoji.

I’m wondering if someone can help...I have Power Users (planners) who need to enrol operatives into ILT sessions, but if I only assign them the branch they’re responsible for, those are the only enrolments they can see.For example, it will say 0/12 because no one in their branch is enrolled in that session, but the session could actually be fully booked with users from other branches! So, to them, it will look like there’s space on the session, when there isn’t… which seems a real problem.I don’t really want to assign all staff to them because of the editing permissions they have.Any suggestions for a way around this?

Hi all, I’m trying to use the in-platform Newsletter feature and I’m running into a few issues. The most pressing one is my text seems to be getting cut off mid-way through. I don’t see any word or character limits mentioned in the Newsletter Knowledge Base articles, and I’m struggling to figure out why this is happening. In the past, I’ve sent newsletters out with an approx word count of 300. The current one that is failing is approx 600 words. Has anyone encountered this issue before?What’s the longest newsletter you’ve sent out?

Curious if anyone knows a way to determine where in the platform a group (or Branch for that matter) is used? We heavily use groups with menus, catalogs, reports and channels but when we try to clean up our groups, it can be almost impossible to figure out where the group is being used to know if it’s ok to delete (without manually going through each of the places above to determine).Not expecting there to be a solution for this, but thought I would pick the collective Docebo support community brains!Thanks!

Does anyone use automation rules to help with automatic enrollments? Looking to streamline a process that could get very complicated as new customers onboard.

I have the files in the widget, but when viewing the course, the names aren’t there. I can only see the file type icon. Anyone have a fix for this? 

I’m a stubborn user of the classic Reports app vs the “New Reports” app and prefer to use it for most of my needs. It shows up fine in my Admin Menu, but my other SAs can’t see it. Any ideas from the hive mind? 

I would like some guidance on extracting/analyzing test data in a useful way. I’m having to spend a lot of time deleting cells from the report just so the data is accurate. The way the excel spreadsheet is exported it gives a Yes or No column based on how the question was answered. My understanding is that includes every question in the test and assigns a No if the test-taker didn’t answer the question (they didn’t get the question to even answer it). In the image below, I have replaced the No with a 0 and the Yes with a 1 in an effort to get an average pass/fail rate. This seems like a lot of work around. Does anyone have a better way?
