Hello! This might be a job for the Automations App, but I wanted to ask here for advice! We are looking for a means of assigning courses to users on the day they are to begin working. We use an onboarding platform to filter user info into our LMS, so when someone completes their onboarding paperwork their name, job title, hire date, etc all filters into the LMS via an hourly sync. However based on the group and enrollment rule options available we can’t quite assign courses to someone on their hire date. Instead they are assigned the courses as soon as they filter into the LMS. Someone could filter into the system two days early, or even two months early, so this makes assigning due dates rather inpractacle. So even if someone does not start working until April 3rd, if they’re in the LMS before that they’ll get their day 1 courses.Does anyone have any advice on assigning courses on a users hire date regardless of when their user profile is creating in the LMS?
I see many variations on this topic. Has anyone solved this yet, either with webhooks, API, magic pixie dust…I do not want to send a list of courses not complete (digest). I do not want to send the notification AFTER the learning plan is due. I do not want to make managers Power Users and give them reporting access. I am not worried about combining all direct reports into a single communication (that would be lovely, but it’s the least of my concerns). The learning plan is not in controlled order, any of the courses could be the last course completed. That is to allow the user flexibility and time management.Yes the “course has expired” notification allows you to send it before the end date, but it’s at the course level, not learning plan.I want to send a single email notification X number of days before a Learning Plan enrollment reaches it’s end of validity. I want to send the notification to the user’s direct manager. Ideally I could send a single email to the user and CC their mana
Hello all!For a course I’m building learners are asked to respond a prompt each week. We’d like these responses to be visible to all course members, as part of the requirement will be that they respond to each others’ posts. I planned to have them respond in a forum, but how would I go about communicating/tracking completion of this task within Docebo? This is a feature available in other LMSs I’ve used.To my understanding, having them submit a response as an assignment allows it to be graded, but will only make it visible to the Instructor (or other users with grading permission), and an observation checklist would only allow one person to submit the checklist, and we’ll have multiple users moderating the course. Thanks for your thoughts!
I created an enrollment notification that has been working fine. However, during testing, the person I enrolled in the course did not receive the email confirming their enrollment. Has anyone else encountered this issue? This notification previously worked without any problems
I’ve been trying to change the background of the Download Certificate button but with no luck. There’s no option in the Customize Colors section, and I have tried quite a but of CSS code, but with no luck. i will post some of my unsuccessful code. Our content will be rated beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Is there a way to designate this and have it appear as a label on the “card” in the catalog?
We need to do a mass student US Mailing to students residential addresses that may have changed since registration. We want to request that students check their street address and update it if necessary prior to the mailing. I see a few ideals out there on similar topics and I have upvoted them but am wondering if there is current updates on this particular use case?
Hello!Does anyone know how to delete duplicates of thumbnails when uploading assets to channels? I have changed my thumbnails for my assets several times as I play around with our look and feel, however it is keeping a “graveyard” of my old thumbnails and does not give me the option to delete like the course thumbnails do. Thank you in advance!
Hello,I am looking for some CSS code to remove the image on the below Assessment page as we have repurposed this feature and no longer require to see this. Can anyone help?
Our instructional design team creates our courses via scorm with each course ending with a course conclusion knowledge check. Checked within the knowledge base and confirmed that the reporting should display the missed questions for the learner (https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020080200-Checking-the-course-report) but our more recent courses have not been displaying it. When looking at a learners report, it will just indicate a reference number without showing me the question asked or responses (example below): When it used to consistently display like this: Is this a setting somewhere or perhaps something to do with our scorm package used to create the course in. Either way, it’s making it very difficult to help a learner figure out where they went wrong if I can’t see what is being asked… HELP!
Hi! I am a fairly new user, but have run into a few limitations that negatively impact our learners. I am wondering if there is a potential workaround to either of these issues:In the web browser, to navigate a PDF asset learners must *click* from page to page. Is scrolling eve an option instead? This is more natural navigation. Also in the web browser and in PDF assets, hyperlinks are deactivated. Learners are only able to access links if they first download the PDF. (We don’t want to encourage downloading as our documents are often updates, and we always want our learners coming to the browser version of the LMS to access the most up to date training.)Is there a setting somewhere that could help me with either of these issues? Thank you!!!!
Hi Everyone,We are hoping some wizard here has some magic CSS we can sprinkle in, to hide this part of the pop-up after a user completes a scorm package & course: “Course Score: Your final grade: 0” see picture below We love the Rate the Course being so prominently displayed! We just want to hide the part of the UI with the “Your Achievements Course score; Your final grade: 0” Until we find a solution to hide that, we have changed our SCORM player to the “Stand-Alone Mode” which then has the effect of there being no pop-up after a user completes a SCORM package and the course. Thanks in advance!Ben from Nashville
Hey folks,New docebo implementation here, and I’m going to be “that customer”. We rushed (due to various internal politics) to purchase a solution to replace our archaic system, and Docebo seemed to meet all the requirements after evaluating Adobe, Northpass and some others. We did not have time for a POC, in which I would have discovered a lot of the pitfalls of the solution. In general, administration is a breeze vs the tool we had before. The central repository, managing updates to courses when accessing a course is great and a huge improvement to what we had. But, we’ve fast found out that you need to be an HTML and CSS expert to be able to do anything like what was presented to us on a sales call, or is advertised. The platform is super inflexible from a UI perspective - simple things - like being locked in to these horrible lists of icons for a page without having an option to select your own which is on-brand, or better yet, not show it at all: (And yes, we have hacked it away wi
Hi I’m new to Docebo. Our employees are automatically created as a user on Docebo. And when an employee leaves the company, his Docebo account will be automatically de-activated.However, if a user is a PowerUser, then his/ her name will still be listed in the “power user management” function and counted into each profile. We manually check which PU is no longer having active account on Docebo and remove them from the PU list. How do you manage such situation ? Any way to automate the process ?
I need to remove a high volume of users from the certification requirement. Is there a CSV template that I am not finding to be able to do this? Removing 1000+ users manually is not a valuable use of time.
Hello All, How do I suspend individuals from a particular course from "Course Management" and remove their certifications from "Certifications and Retaining" via a CSV upload? or is there any other way rather than downloading a report and changing their status manually. Thank you
Hello,Is it possible to display a user’s certificate directly on their home page, providing a quick and convenient way to access it without navigating through “My Activities” to view courses?Additionally, how can managers view certificates for employees who have earned them? Could this functionality be set up through a report, allowing managers to easily pull up individual certificates as needed?I’d appreciate your guidance on these questions. Please let me know what options are available.
We’re using Docebo to deploy some compliance training across our workforce (approximately 1,800 FTEs). In addition to courses, there will be a policy acknowledgment that legal wants to deploy using Adobe Sign, rather than the native e-signature app. Our intent is that the policy acknowledgement be the final training material in the course, and we’ll use and HTML training material to direct users to the signature page. My concern is that an HTML training material marks complete when a user opens it. Ideally, I’d like to build a verification step where the course shows as “in progress” until a Power User verifies that the acknowledgment was signed in Adobe Sign. The Power User would then confirm in Docebo and the course would mark complete. In my mind, there are two ways of accomplishing this.Build it as an observation checklist. I think a potential pitfall here is that an observation checklist can only have one observer, and the “verification” may get shared across a small team of Power
Here’s the setup:I have a learning plan with a single course in it.There are no days of validity settings in the learning plan. There are no days of validity settings in the course.I have an enrollment rule mapped to the learning plan and enrollment days of validity in the enrollment rule. If I enroll a user (chrometester) through the enrollment rule, for that user, at the course level, it attaches start and end days of validity. It also has start and end days of validity at the learning plan level. If I enroll a user (firefoxtester) manually into the learning plan and select enrollment days of validity through that screenflow there is no course level enrollment day of validity set. There is only learning plan level days of validity. Here is a screenshot of the end result at the course level. So, my question is. Why do I get different results? Shouldn’t the enrollment rule mimic the manual process? I have asked support to take a look, but I don’t have an answer yet. I honestly prefer the
Why is CC not available when watching videos in Docebo University? This is an accessibility that I need, and it makes watching the recorded videos incredibly difficult. If it is available, can you please provide instructions to turn them on within DU?
Would love to see if there are any best practices out there that are less manual than what we are currently doing. Use case: We use course and enrollment validity periods to manage access to courses by learners for some e-Learning and most ILT/VILT courses. Once the enrollment or course validity period comes to an end, there is a “lock” symbol that appears on the course for that learner or, for ILTs/VILTs the course card shows expired but the course continues to be accessible, if I am not mistaken. From a business perspective, once the enrollment or course is expired, that course is no longer relevant for the learner to take. As a result it needs to be removed from their “My Courses and Learning Plans” area. Our Solution: We currently have to review all courses monthly. For courses/enrollments that have expired, we have to manually archive the users. Then, rename, unpublish the course, and move it to an “Archive” folder. Then, remove it from catalogs and channels where it may be publis
