*Be sure to bookmark the Docebo Pro Page as it will not be added to the DU menu until after the exam launches.

Woo hoo!  Looking forward to working on this certification!

We’re excited too!

Do you know yet what the cost will be for the certification, if any? I want to provide my manager with the details as we are budgeting for 2024.

We haven’t officially launched/announced the certification/price but if you review the Study Guide you’ll find details inside.

do u know where to go to take the exam?

I recommend reading the study guide because it covers this question. You can take the exam at home, but need to download a special browser.

Does Docebo offer a study schedule? Trying to figure out how many hours I need to study and for how many months.

Any idea on when the first exam will be offered and how often?

When the exam is released (which is coming soon!) you will be able to purchase and take the exam within Docebo University on the Docebo Pro Certifications Page.

We’ll be making formal announcements soon.

Hi Jessica! That sounds interesting - what do you mean by a study schedule? We haven’t detailed explicit timelines because everyone’s familiarity and experience with the platform differs. We instead recommend using the Study Tracker to assess your confidence with each item listed and then move on from there. Once your confidence is at 100 percent you can move on to taking the exam.

@ryan.woods do you have anything to add?

My manager asked for me to come up with a schedule for how often I will study/take training each day/week to prepare for the certification. It would be helpful for the study guide to have a recommended schedule (assuming that you need to study all materials). For example:

2-Month Study Schedule (modify as needed based on current knowledge level) of Docebo

Week 1 - Take courses A, B, C and review knowledge base articles (~4 hours)

Week 2 - Take courses D, E, F and review knowledge base articles (~4 hours)

What would be even better is if Docebo created learning plans for each week that housed the courses and articles in Docebo University ;)

Can’t wait!

When the exam launches, can we take it at any time? Or is it only offered on certain dates?

It will be available at all times and you’ll be able to take it at anytime you wish. It will be a proctored exam but won’t require scheduling just some adjustments and planning to the space you’ll be taking the exam. These details will be shared in greater detail at launch.

Thanks again for the clarification @ryan.woods should be able to answer that question in a bit more detail.

Hi @Jessica Tart --

It looks like you’re already developing a great study plan for the exam!

In my mind, the best preparation begins with the Study Tracker. It’s a spreadsheet with a comprehensive list of topics the certification exam covers. Go through and assess your confidence answering questions on each of those topics with scores ranging from 0-3:

0 – you lack any familiarity with the subject and would be guessing blindly
1 or 2 – you’re familiar enough with the question’s subject to make educated guesses
3 – you’re completely confident you could get questions on the subject correct without any further study

Conducting that self-assessment can provide the basis for creating a study plan tailored to your specific needs (one reason we didn’t deploy a one-size-fits-all Learning Plan -- if one learner already knows almost all the topics and another is starting from zero on almost everything, there’s little point in them both going through the same study plan.)

For the 3’s, there’s no use spending much time studying, other than working through the Study Guide to familiarize yourself with the test format and get some practice.

For 2’s, I’d recommend working through the Study Guide and simply reviewing the relevant Knowledge Base articles and following the “guided tours” in the platform (check the Study Guide for details). Focus especially on dependencies and limitations in the product, as these are likely to be what you guess wrong on.

For 0’s and 1’s, I’d suggest working through the Study Guide, taking DU Courses, reading relevant Knowledge Base articles, and following the “guided tours.” You really need to build your knowledge from the ground up.

Based on how many courses and articles you’ll need to take to bring those Study Tracker scores to all 3’s (or close to that!), I’d develop a timeline.

Because we test in 6 functional areas (Admin and Setup, Design and Layout, User Management, Content Management, Reporting, Integrations), you may want to develop this study plan in a three, six, or twelve-week framework. For example, a confident learner with mostly 2’s and 3’s might decide to do two functional areas a week in the Study Guide and Knowledge Base, getting into the platform here or there to test out features. A learner with more 1’s and 2’s might want to tackle a functional area a week with those resources and review a few DU Courses. A learner with lots of 0’s and 1’s might want to take more time to get to know the platform, read the Study Guide, and perhaps run through the entire Getting Started Learning Plan in addition to reviewing the Knowledge Base and getting platform experience -- taking two weeks per functional area.

Again, this is just how I would do it, but I imagine different learners with different timeframes might approach it differently.

@ryan.woods This is very helpful, thank you!

Looking forward to this!

Hi All,

I am new to Docebo but have 12 years experience in the industry.

I would love to connect with other Admin on Docebo or LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/thomasalbright

Located in Dayton Ohio, USA I would be interested in joining regional Admin Groups!

@ryan.woods  Are you able to confirm there is no deadline or due date to complete the certification by once you make the purchase? My manager has asked so we can budget and plan my projects accordingly in 2024.

I can confirm that there is no due date to complete the certification. Take as much time as you need after purchase.

Any idea when this is launching?

@lrodman I believe it has already launched 🚀🙂

@lrodman It’s live! We sent out an email to customers that the certificaiton is now live. You can find and purchase the exam here as well as free study resources that contain information about the exam.

Hello to everyone.
I am taking the courses in order according to the Docebo Learn Admin Cert Study Guide.
I noticed that some courses are based on an older version of the platform, very different from the current one.
My question is whether the exam will be based on the information present in the courses or, as I believe, on the current interface of the platform. Thank you.
