Hi, forgive me if this has been asked countless times before, what is the easiest way to find out what a specific widget ID is if I want to try an alter the look of it.  That is to say both system and custom widgets?

Thanks for you help.

Hi, I cannot seem to see how to identify the widget, where do you see the ID?

Here’s a video on how to locate widget IDs using the inspect tool:

So I have ascertained that it is doc.widget.93, yet cannot see how to alter the colours of this widget??

Apologies as I am fairly new to CSS and just finding my feet as it were.

Hi,

Unfortunately you’ve chosen one of the few widgets that can’t be altered.

In order to alter the CSS of the platform you need to use the custom CSS Editor located in branding look and feel section of your platform.

I’m not sure I can give you explicit detail on where to start with CSS because it’s a fairly involved topic and requires some study but why don’t you tell me what you’re trying to do and I’ll see if we have some snippets already available.

We are trying to make sure all the colours in our training LMS are “on brand” so the default widgets/pages need changing to reflect that.
