Payment Gateway Enhancement: Adyen
For those of you leveraging Adyen as your payment gateway, we have added Docebo Transaction ID to the Adyen payment gateway dashboard as the merchant ID to help make reconciliation a little easier.
3 New Mobile Updates
| 1. Branded Mobile: Background audio Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can turn compliance courses into something like Sweet Bobby? Because I can crush 6 episodes into a Saturday morning like a champ. With this update, the Go.Learn app can continue to play audio when the app is in the background or the screen is off. One small leap toward Podcasts, one giant save on battery power. 2. Go.Learn: Extend DCS to Support Skills Selection Mobile users now have the ability to tag skills when uploading content. 3. Go.Learn: Extended Share Functionality Tightening the ties between mobile and DCS, it will be possible to share content by selecting the visibility rules for specific channels and/or users, using the AI suggestions. | |

New languages for translations and voice-overs
It’s short, but sweet. We’ve got 4 new languages: Polish, Dutch, Finnish, and Norwegian.

Microsoft Outlook 365 Calendar Integration
We will be introducing the Microsoft Outlook 365 Calendar Integration through Docebo Connect.
For those of you familiar with the Google Calendar connector, this is all the goodness, but for Microsoft Outlook 365!

Events will be sent directly to the learner’s personal calendar

When events change in Docebo, learner will have near real-time synchronization of changes in their Outlook calendar

Admins will see RSVPs for the event in Docebo

Ability for Admins to Update Data
And finally, for those of you with DLA, we have a small (but mighty!) upgrade for data updates. Gone are the days where admins need to ask Docebo to refresh their data source. Now, admins can update their own data using an Excel/CSV upload. And...just like that, those custom widgets are refreshed!

Webinar post-migration activities on reports
As part of the webinars post-migration activities described in the Knowledge Base:

the Users – Webinar Sessions custom report is deprecated. Any data related to the migrated courses is available in the Users – ILT Sessions new custom report

the Webinars tab of the User Personal Summary report is removed and all of the data concerning the migrated courses are available in the ILT (Instructor-Led Training) tab

if you have not migrated to the New Custom Reports yet, when the migration is over, instructors data will no longer be available in the following reports:

HTML code no longer allowed for the names of course categories
In order to improve the platform security, the names of course categories no longer accept HTML code. If found, the HTML code will be deleted while other characters will be kept.
SCORM completion for Docebo Content
All external content providers are now aligned with the retry mechanism ensuring the completion of SCORM files imported from Docebo Content.
New limit on the expiration date of subscription plans
For those using subscriptions, please note that when setting the validity of a plan, the validity period cannot last after January 1, 2038. If the expiration date of any of the existing plans is set after January 1, 2038, it will be readjusted to this date.
Wider catalog for badge icons
For those using the Gamification app, the catalog of predefined badge icons is now much wider. This improvement will be applied to both the desktop platform and the mobile app. Learn more on Gamification.
LTI training material URLs trailing slashes no longer removed by Docebo
As communicated on February 15, 2022, for those using LTI training material, Docebo will no longer remove the LTI training material URL trailing slashes for proper management of the user authentication when playing this type of training material.
User directly logged in with the free self-registration
As communicated on February 22, 2022, for those using the free self-registration, the platform does no longer show a pop-up for the user to enter his or her credentials, and directly logs in the user when the following configuration is set in the Advanced Settings area of the platform:

the Do not send confirmation email at self registration option is selected in the Self Registration tab, Registration Type area

the Automatically calculate password option is selected in the Users tab, Options area
Security enhancement for third-party Identity Provider users
As communicated on March 20, 2022, an extra internal validation step on the relay state will be added. This will enhance the platform’s security for users logging in via third-party identity providers.
New value passed by Docebo Learn to Adyen as Merchant Reference
As communicated on March 29, 2022, for those using Adyen as an accepted payment method in their Docebo Learn platform, the Merchant Reference code passed by Docebo to Adyen is now a unique numeric code identifying the transaction in the platform instead of the LMS Course Purchase fix string.
Timezone management for the POST /learn/v1/enrollment/batch API
As communicated on April 12, 2022, for those using the POST /learn/v1/enrollment/batch API, the date and time input timezone attribute of the options area of the endpoint is now considered in UTC time, unless a specific timezone is set.
Fields removed from the reports for managers
As communicated on April 26, 2022, for those using the reports available in the Reports tab of the My Team page, some user fields displayed in the reports have been removed in order to make the reports more efficient. Have a look at the details.
Restrictions on reusing old passwords
As communicated on April 26, 2022, for those using the Ask the user to choose a password different from the last X used passwords option in the platform’s Advanced Settings menu, the maximum value allowed for this parameter is 10. If you have currently set a value greater than 10, that value will be kept till you edit it for the first time after May 25, 2022, when you will be forced to adhere to the new rule. In this update, the following new features and enhancements have been added to the mobile app:

For those using the branded mobile app, in addition to video files, you can now enjoy the background audio playback functionality while listening to your audio files as well.

For those using the Discover, Coach & Share module, when sharing content from your app, you can now enjoy a redesigned and improved experience. From a dedicated tab and page, you can decide if you want to share your asset with other people and channels or if you want to save the content just for yourself, and then you can select the skills you want to assign to your content.

The mobile app supports universal link/app links, unique URLs that allow you to create integrated experiences among emails, apps, messaging systems and web pages. They are enabled by default in Go.Learn, but not on your branded app. Learn how to enable them in your branded app.
Furthermore, a handful of minor issues have been addressed to give you a better, smoother learning experience.
New languages for translations and voice-overs
You can now translate your Shapes into Bulgarian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Polish, and create voice-overs in Dutch, Norwegian and Polish, on top of the already supported languages.
Microsoft Outlook 365 calendar integration now available for Docebo Connect
Docebo Connect now provides a way to allow an Outlook 365 calendar account to supply invitations for sessions to enrolled users as well as automatically create, update or delete the Outlook 365 calendar entry according to changes in the corresponding Docebo Learn VILT session.
Administrators can now update data sources autonomously
Docebo Learning Analytics Administrators who are using custom Excel or CSV files as data sources for their custom widgets can now update and manage these data sources autonomously on the Docebo Learning Analytics platform.
Heads up! Some changes coming your way
We don’t want you to miss any upcoming changes!
- New enrollment date reset rule for the PUT /learn/v1/enrollments/{course_id}/{user_id} API
- Differently from what was communicated on March 15, for those using the PUT /learn/v1/enrollments/{course_id}/{user_id} API to reset enrollment dates, please note that starting on June 15, 2022, the reset will be only be triggered by a valid new enrollment date. If the enrollment date field is NULL or empty, the endpoint will return an error message.
- HTML code no longer allowed in the comments of assignments’ evaluations
- For those using assignments, please note that starting on June 15, 2022, in order to improve the platform security, when evaluating assignments, the Comments will no longer accept HTML code. If found, the HTML code will be deleted while other characters will be kept.
- Docebo mobile app - User account deletion within the mobile app for those using self-registration
- For those allowing their users to self-register from their mobile app, please note that starting on June 30th (with version 4.6.0 of Go.Learn and of the branded mobile app) your users will be able to request to delete their account within their mobile app. You as the platform Superadmin will then receive an email where you are notified of the request, and you will be able to manage it as you prefer — don’t worry, no account will be deleted automatically!
- This feature makes Go.Learn and the branded app from version 4.6.0 onwards compliant with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines 5.1.1 (V). When version 4.6.0 is available on June 30th, please remember to generate a new build and update your app to be compliant with Apple’s guidelines.
