This is possibly a really obvious question but I can’t find the answer on the knowledge base.

How can I view assets or playlists shared with me. I thought you could do it from the built in ‘my channel’ but it doesn’t show any assets or playlists that have been shared with me only the assets I’ve uploaded or collated.

There are currently no notifications for a shared playlist see my previous question on the topic.

I must be getting something wrong with the channel or there must be another way to show shared assets as otherwise what is the point in sharing a playlist?

Any ideas greatly received I know someone will know something.

Hi @Lucy.blake this should help:

https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020126279-Creating-and-Managing-Playlists

as for the notification, I would suggest you try this one: New Content Shared with You to see if that meets your needs

Hi thanks @lrnlab I’ve been able to get the notifications working after trying something that didn’t work 2 months ago. It now works!

The article you have shared is one I’ve read and it says how to share an asset or playlist with someone else but not where to find a playlist that has been shared with you. For example if I shared a playlist with person A. Where would they be able to locate the playlist easily.

I’ve found the built in channel ‘ New Invitations and Subscriptions. This channel includes all of the content that has been shared with you and the courses or learning plans in which you are enrolled.’ On this page, but this channel shows everything and there’s no way to filter out only shared content.

Good catch @Lucy.blake forgot about that channel...agree there’s no way to sort what’s inside a channel besides the basics, Newest > oldest, etc. May be a good idea to share..?

@Lucy.blake the filter would be a great addition in my opinion.

I’m not really seeing anything tied directly to this use case in the Ideas area, but the current recommendation shared by @lrnlab (to use a dedicated Notification) would be the best option to give users a historical reference point. Although, adding an ability to filter in the Invitations and Subscriptions channel could be a much cleaner approach than a flurry of emails to dig through. Please let me know if you post an idea, you’ve got my vote for it!

I’ve added an idea

Thanks @Lucy.blake! You’ve got my vote! :)
