We have been unsuccessful configuring ecommerce within Docebo using the A.Net app for our training purposes. We are now looking to host ecommerce outside of Docebo and inside of our web site which has a functioning ecommerce. The solutions suggested by Docebo are not acceptable either. ne solution was to use iframe and since iframes will soon not be supported we had to say no to this suggestion. The other two options, one mimics what we already do and the other is JS coding, which will delay your launch and will add significant costs to the project. Has anyone undertaken a project to host ecommerce outside of Docebo?
There used to be a Shopify solution. Essentially the way it worked was that all your courses were converted to admin-only enrollments, and then the API did the enrollments on the back end after the purchase was made through the Shopify store. You would also need to have a way to sync up your catalog between the ecommerce store and what’s in Docebo.
There was a third party solution I looked at once, but my recollection was that it struggled with ILT sessions. It was OK for elearning.
I’m sure you could build something, but it would take a lot of work to do right.
