Get course progress via API or Docebo Connect

We need to pass course progress from Docebo into Salesforce, but have not found a way to do this via API or Docebo Connect. Is anyone aware of a way to get this information?Some background: we are using this for customer training and it is perhaps the most important data to help us understand how active the learner is in the course. I know we can get time spent in the course but we have found that to be so inaccurate (reporting hours when only minutes were spent in the course) that it is effectively useless.

Connect to a SAAS Solution (Identity Now)

Hi Everyone,I’m attempting to onboard Docebo to a SAAS solution called IdentityNow. In Postman we needed to pass both the client id / secret and username and password to retrieve the token for API calls. In IdentityNow, we’re able to establish a test connection but we’re unable to pass the token to other API calls in the source leading to a 401 error. Has anyone been able to onboard this source successfully to IdentityNow or other SAAS solutions?Thank You.

How to remove date_expire_validity from course enrollment?

For api endpoint PUT /learn/v1/enrollments/{course_id}/{user_id}I need to remove the date_expire_validity.  However passing null or an empty string returns an error.  How do I unset this date?

Hello All, We have recently started looking for LRS Possibilities in Docebo and have the below questions.Can anyone help answer these? Does Docebo has their own LRS (learning record store) functionality, or is it required to use an external vendor ? Can we keep TinCan courses in Docebo with connection to external LRS, or do we have to upload courses to LRS and connect them with Docebo? Are there any business cases where such functionality was implemented ?

User Authentication for AICC Course

HelloI have (what I thought was a) super-simple use case which I am struggling with in Docebo.I have a Docebo instance setup using SSO (JumpCloud is the IdP) which is also integrated with Slack.  The Slack integration appears to drive the format of user ID (firstname.lastname) rather than email address which would ideally be used. I have an external vendor which the Compliance team are using for mandatory eLearning courses.  The same users exist in the LMS of the vendor and also use SSO to access (again using JumpCloud as the IdP).  The user ID here has been set as email address.I have a learning plan in Docebo which contains initial content for user onboarding - various SCORM modules, a couple of videos from senior leaders, etc.  I then need to include the courses from the vendor. I want Docebo to remain as the front door for learners for this.I assumed (I never learn!) that my tasks for the integration would simply be:Export the courses as AICC from the vendor Update the userID attri

Is there a way to retrieve skills descriptions?

To start off with I know there is an API that will retrieve the details of 1 skill but we have 345 (80 core skills) so I really need to find a way get all the skill descriptions without doing each one individually in an API (api-browser/#!/skill/Skill/Skill_skill_v1_skills_skill_id). I can get all the skills their codes and id’s thanks so a very talented team member SQL database and PowerBi. So if that is required I have that information. Is there a report I’m missing or maybe the API is hidden somewhere? I’ve looked everywhere I can think but I just keep hitting brick walls as far as the skills are concerned.Any ideas gratefully recieved.

Import Users Via CSV - Settings Changed to SAML?

We have been using the AutomationApp to pull employees via CSV into Docebo for over a year. This week, I noticed new employees being added with missing fields and alternate usernames. Upon checking the Audit log, it appears the User creation switched from the AutomationApp to SAML SSO. Any ideas how or why this changed? I’m still receiving successful CSV import notifications every day, and the SAML SSO user created time and date match what would be expected via the automation.  Audit log screenshot below, with redacted user information. The red box is the latest user creation actions, and the green is what is desired.

Filter courses and session basic of additional field through APIs

I am working with the Docebo API and need to filter courses and sessions based on custom fields (additional fields). However, I am unable to filter courses using these fields in /learn/v1/courses. Could you please provide guidance on the following:How can I retrieve and filter courses based on custom fields (additional fields) through the Docebo API? Are there any specific endpoints or methods for querying custom fields associated with courses? If custom fields are not directly accessible via the course API, is there an alternative solution? Any API to filter sessions basis of additional fields?Thank you for your assistance!

API for bulk channel creation

I’m testing out the API to create Channels in bulk. I’m heartbroken to realize that channels don’t have codes like catalogs since I have to make over 2k of them. But I digress. I’ve create a channel successfully, but I don’t see the option to set the upload permissions upon creation. Please tell me I don’t have to do this manually. 😥 Adding upload permissions, which is visible when you search individual channels, still allowed me to create the channel successfully but didn’t set it to the parameter I specified. { "name": { "type": "single_value", "value": "Test","upload_permissions": "Experts only", "values": { "language_code": "en" } }, "description": { "type": "single_value", "value": "test", "values": { "language_code": "en" } }}

3rd party search integration?

Docebo excels in many areas, but search is not one of them. The global search results are particularly confusing to our users. To address this, we are looking into adding a third party search tool like Coveo or Elastic. Does anyone have experience integrating a tool like this into Docebo? If so, I would love to hear about your experience.

Alternate URL when using SSO connection button

Hello everyoneI have a customer using one of my extended enterprise subdomains, plugged into its SSO.I have activated the function to connect only using the “SAML SSO” button. But as I don’t have credential on my customer SSO, I can not connect.I can if I’m activating the SMAL_SSO + login/password option… but this is confusing for my customer: half of them connect by clicking on the SAML SSO button, others try with credentials and fail.So is there an alternate URL for this subdomain where I could connect, with my login/password and not use the SAML SSO button?

Default Password for Connect Imported Users

Hello everyone, I am currently building a recipe in Connect for my company that pulls in a roster CSV and automatically creates Docebo user profiles. I see an option to create a password for new users but we can also leave that section blank. My question is what would the password be if we leave the password section blank?

Python to get API via OAuth2: Client Credentials vs Password Credentials

How can I use API to fetch employee all courses and course completion?

I spend quite a lot of time on finding the solution through Docebo API explorer, but the only solution i find is /learn/v1/courses/report?idCourse=113. Then it returns all the user for this course. But I want to find a single user and check what courses he got assigned has been completed. The exploration I had above will make the fetch logic super complicated, because I will have to find each course and figure out if the user has completed or not? Please help me out!!!!!!

Can't find fields in API for Archived Enrollment and Enrollment Type

Hi Guys, I’m pulling some data using the API to our data warehouse so our reporting team can do some Analytics.They are asking for 2 specific fields which I can’t seem to find anywhere:Archived Enrollment seems like the only choices are yes/noEnrollment Type choices being Mandatory or Optional and a few others.. Please let me know your thoughts and any help would be appreciated.Thank You.

LinkedIn Learning Catalogue Browsing through Docebo - without import!

We have the LinkedIn Learning integration with around 400 courses imported into our platform and weaved throughout our learning plans etc. We’d like to explore the option of learners browsing the LI library of courses THROUGH docebo without having to import a course into the platform, similar to how we browse as administrators. Essentially, we want the experience of THIS page without the import option for them and serve as a window. Additionally, we’ve created a LinkedIn Learning Catalogue which surfaces all 10,000+ courses, but when they are imported they don’t align with our metadata and we’re aware that LI courses aren’t updated automatically etc and risk duplication if imported courses. This is becoming a bit of a headache, and wondered if anyone has experienced the same OR if mass import is the way to go OR just let learners run free and put processes in place to maintain data integrity. Thanks all!(We also toyed with applying code to hide the import button, but was told this woul

Uploading code straight from VSC/Bitbucket

Hello everyone, I am a front-end developer working on my company’s Docebo platform and was wondering if there is any way to connect our Bitbucket repository to the Docebo CSS editor, or any better way to deploy code than copying it from my local VSC files, which is quite tedious. I do have DevOps colleagues that could create the necessary pipelines or workflow for that. Indexing the LMS with 3rd party platform

My team’s use case is providing training for external customers. We’re looking to use a 3rd party vendor (Coveo) to index and combine all of the different resources we have within the company (training, knowledgebases, community posts, etc.) Does anyone else have experience with this- good or bad? We heard we need to use the Coveo Generic REST API connector to index the content in the LMS so it can be a content source. Any thoughts out there?

API catalog sort update - in bulk

We created many (MANY) catalogs in bulk via the API. When you do, it auto sets the SORT BY option to Name A-Z. Typically, you’d want Newest to Oldest. Anyone familar with how to set a list of IDs to that option? Otherwise I’m cursed with navigating the catalog management screen and changing them one by one….From - To -  We used this to create: /api-browser/#!/learn/Catalogue/Catalogue_learn_v1_catalog_batch{  "items": [    {      "code": "string",      "name": "string",      "description": "string"    }  ]}Edit??
