We are in the process of creating our branded mobile app and are experiencing an error when we upload our IOS app package to Apple Developer. The error is related to the bundle identifier.

We have a unique bundle id in our Apple account, but each time we attempt the build for IOS, we receive an error message indicating that we need to verify our bundle id and the id in the error message is not the id we have in our Apple account; it is from Docebo.

Any insight that can shared about uploading IOS builds is appreciated.

Hi there,

The bundle ID is created at the App ID configuration.

If you select ‘Universal Link’ on the Docebo Platform, this would then comprise of the App ID and the Bundle ID. For example - 9YR6YH8KLL.com.mycompany.myapp.client

Do you have any screenshots of the error message that is being shown?

Hello! Thank you for the message. This is the error message we receive. Can you clarify why we are getting com.docebo.eolo.staging as an error when we don’t have that listed anywhere? That is not the Bundle ID we have in or apple account. Is that a default that can be changed somewhere?

Hello,

The .ipa file you downloaded from the Platform - did you carry out the resigning process of this build?

Once you have performed this, you will then be able to deliver the app via Transporter.
