Unable to import courses via CSV with mandatory additional field
Hello! I am using the Automation app to create course shells with a CSV file upload. I have setup a scheduled rule which, once a CSV file is added to an FTP folder, imports the courses using a custom import schema. The process itself works absolutely fine. However, we now have a mandatory additional course field, which causes the import to fail and sends the following error on the log:Invalid option 'field_1’The additional field is a dropdown list, so I have assumed that the value should be the string value of the dropdown option, as per the information for managing uses via CSV on this page: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020128839-Importing-and-Managing-Users-via-CSV-Files...But clearly this is not working, and we can’t leave it blank because it’s a mandatory field. Does anyone know the correct way to reference a dropdown value when importing via CSV, please?
My Activity Donut Widget has so much Negative Space
Hello! I am here with a CSS question. The My Activity widget that you can put on pages has so much negative space on the top and bottom. Has anyone figure out how to remove or reduce that? I don’t like how it looks on my page, but we want to provide this type of visual to learners directly on their courses page. Red boxes below are what I’d like to remove/reduce.
ILT Learner is absent, what should course status be
Looking for feedback on how others would handle this.(Yay we get more reporting coming on event status, but…..I don’t know if that answers my questions/problem.)If you mark a learner absent on an event for a course that is attendance based for course completion. It shows their status as ‘in progress’.I don’t know what the right answer is here. I don’t think it’s fair to mark them complete, they didn’t show up. BUT the course is over, they can never complete it.I want to capture that they didn’t show up, I don’t want to show a completion on course reporting (Credit where it isn’t due), but I also don’t want it to hang out forever on their in progress course list.I could mark them as ‘suspended’ I guess? What does that status even mean?How are you all dealing with this?
Is there any way to set up my global search on the platform? I am loading skills into the platform and would love for my employees to be able to search for these. Right now I find the global search tends to confuse a lot of my employees more than help. Any suggestions for this are appreciated!
Limit learning plan visibility to only enrolled users in a shared catalog
Greetings team! I am looking at a use case that seems like we’re running into some limitations on courses vs. learning plans. I’ll try to outline our weird org and maybe someone has a recommendation on what I’m doing wrong, or if there are better options.Our catalogs are based on group visibility which is often shared markets. In this example let’s say we have an English catalog shared among the EMEA region and two countries the UK and Norway are both in the group and catalog. Typically, they’d see all the same content. However, if we have a product go live only in the UK, it still needs to be in that catalog but Norway can’t see it. I’m confused why if the course inside the LP is set to enrollments not allowed, but when I add the LP anyone can enroll it. Is that the only option? If I add the course, visibility is correct. Hide course validity dates banner
When I turn on validity dates for a course there is a banner that shows on the top of the course page saying DEADLINE: THE COURSE EXPIRES IN XX DAYS. I don’t want any mention of a deadline. However, we need the validity dates turned on so we can use the Notification tool to let users know their deadline is approaching. Does anybody have a way to turn this banner off or a good workaround?
Error Message for Expired User Account
At present, if an expired user attempts to log into the Docebo platform, they receive the following message: Error - Sign in not possibleWrong credentials provided. Check them and try again.This message us confusing to expired users. Is there a way to modify the message specifically for expired accounts?
Do all ILT sessions need an assigned instructor?
We are building out Docebo courses for the first time, but we don’t want to give our presenters all the abilities of an instructor. We are making a custom Power User profile instead. Will there be a problem if we make sessions without instructors assigned?
Discover, Coach & Share - is there a way to invite a specific "group"?
We often utilize the “invite to watch” in Coach & Share, but often, we wish we could narrow down our invite to specific groups and not have to invite everyone. On the flipside, not have to select individuals one at a time manually either. Is there a way to invite “groups”?

Hello Community,Does anyone here have the experience of using the new product called Learn Data? Basically, it is to connect all relevant data in the learning platform, to the organization’s data warehouse, which then can help the organization to create and manage its own learning dashboard with in-house tools e.g PBI.What’s your experience with this product so far? Do you need a sand box in order for it to function properly? We were told that having sand box is compulsory - for sand box, we have been using the platform since 2017 and can survive without it.Look forward to some response!

We are working on a scavenger hunt to introduce new hires to the LMS. Here are our ideas. Do you have any other ways of working it? Create an e-learning called “New Hire Scavenger Hunt”Training material: PDF Completion: Upon viewing of pdf Pain Point: Many new users are not aware of how to sign up for LinkedIn Learning or that it is available to them Notes: Docebo is connected with LinkedIn Learning. We want to make sure they have the instructions to get their LinkedIn Learning account set up, but don’t want to make signing up the trigger for completion because we don’t want to waste licenses. Training material: Quiz Completion: Answer question correctly. Pain Point: Many users do not know how to explore our pages or where. Typical CSV upload speed?
I am trying to upload a CSV file of new users and, boy, is it taking forever. Can anyone tell me the typical time needed for a CSV upload? I do not have reason to believe there is an error as I’ve done this before. I am going to have to develop processes taking this speed issue into consideration. Thanks!
Email Notifications for Virtual Sessions in new ILT course type
We have been holding off using the new ILT course type for virtual sessions as the email notifications do not contain the necessary short codes that carry the virtual session info, details, etc.. Is anyone using them for this purpose right now? What are you doing to communicate details of the virtual session to your users?
No ellipsis menu on ILT New Course Page?
I noticed the ellipsis menu in the upper right corner of the New Course Page appears to be missing for ILT courses.e-learning:ILT: At first I thought it might be due to a CSS modification I made, but I have thoroughly checked. I also check the course settings and I have unenrollment enabled. Is there an additional new setting I am missing somewhere? If not, are there any plans to correct this?
Benefits of overwriting vs. hiding training materials
What are the benefits of overwriting a training material vs. hiding them (Specifically SCORM files)? I thought it was so in-progress users could continue taking the hidden training materials, while the visible ones were shown the active training materials (slowly phasing out), but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Is it just cleaner to overwrite? Does overwriting cause any issues aside from making in-progress users start over? I’ve always been so nervous with this.
Learning Plans that Sync with Catalogs / Catalog-Based Certifications?
One need that I think we have in our organization is a learning plan that syncs with a catalog - or a catalog-based certification. We’re looking at onboarding external customers into our LMS and to help them find what they need, we’re separating the courses into 3 levels based on complexity. Getting a certificate for completing the level-based catalog would make sense, even if they don’t necessarily follow the content in the order of a learning plan. Catalogs obviously will get updated as new content is added or removed or whatever, and it would be great if there’s either a certificate based on catalog completion or a learning plan can that can sync with the catalog directly.
Shifting a team from one direct manager to another
Howdy, Is there a quick and easy way to shift a team from one manager to another?For example, direct manager Jane Johnson took a voluntary demotion, and Sue Smith is the team’s new DM. I’d like to just swap SS for JJ as the DM, instead of rebuilding the team under SS’s user record in the UI. I’m lazy like that.Any thoughts?
Intercom Chat Bubble integration into Docebo
Anyone have any luck or know how to implement getting the Intercom Chat Bubble to also reside within the LMS? Would be great to be able to have users ask for help on the page they are working on rather than exit out and go back to a support page just to get assistance. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Validity periods & Completion access
I have a Learning Plan with 4 courses that I want to provide a 14-day window from the day of enrollment to be completed. I implemented the days of validity option on the Learning Plan with a notification to signal when it’s about to expire. I think this works great for making sure folks do the training within a certain amount of time.My problem comes in for folks that do complete the Learning Plan. When the validity period is over, even if they completed the training, they can no longer access the material. It will show expired.How can I keep the time frame for them to be able to complete the training, but still give them access to the content after they’ve completed it?
