We have gotten some initial feedback from a pilot user that is struggling whenever certain learning objects are the end of a course. For example, if a Knowledge Check is last it shows the results of the Knowledge Check instead of the Complete text with the trophy icon. Is there any way to get the course to always show complete at the end of last object, instead of the object itself? This way learners will not wonder if they are truly complete or not.
Hi
or you can deliberately set you last object as the “end object marker” which should have the effect you’re looking for.

I tried it, but it didn’t do what I was looking for :(
What happens:
What I want to happen:
The way to get that second screen to show now is to go out and back in. In the courses where it doesn’t show at the end, such as ones with a test at the end, some learners are confused and unsure if they completed the course or not. I know it should be obvious because it says 6/6, but it is not obvious to our less tech savy users. Is there any way to force that second screen even if the final learning object is something like a test where it has options in the content box?

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s an option for that. Or at least I haven’t seen it.
I’ve gotten questions about this, too. Two things I’ve done:
- Create a short “welcome to your LMS” course that every new staff member gets enrolled into, that has a page dedicated to ‘if you see a trophy it’s done!’
- When practical, create courses where the last training material is a SCORM course played in Lightbox mode (or Fullscreen mode). When a user completes it, it will refresh the page, which will show that second screen with the trophy
Hope that makes sense! I know SCORM and xAPI training materials can be played in Lightbox mode, but I don’t think observational checklists or lessons can be. It may be worth experimenting around with this though?
Yep! That makes sense. Thank you. Sad to hear it’s not possible, but this is pretty much the same conclusion I landed on, so at least I know I tried haha
Hi! I was reading your post above and saw that what looks like a file download - you were able to rename external link? It also looks like you were able to rename Lesson. May I ask how were you able to do that? I have tried renaming some items in localization tool to rename items like SCORM file, but it renames all SCORM files for example. I would love to be able to renames slides to either How to OR presentation or whatever. Can you advise?
In addition, are you using external links as a file download training material? If so, how are you doing this? I have been creating an HTML image that they have to click to open to that website. Thank you for your help!

You can change a whole bunch of the words in Docebo with the Localization Tool. Look up that in their knowledgebase for more info. I’m pretty sure that’ll solve most of what you’re talking about. Good luck!
Also my external links are not file downloads. They are literal links to documents or webpages outside of the platform. I hope that helps.
Thank you
