HI,

I have a question regarding setting enrollment validity periods.

I am wnating to enroll people into certain courses, and as a way to force them to take the courses on time, I wanted to add a validity period.

My question is, what happens once this period expires?

  1. Do they simply no longer have free access and now have to pay to take the course (my preferred option)
  2. Do they simply not see that course anymore?
  3. If they have completed the course, what happens once the validity period ends - do they still have access to it?

Basically, I just need a bit more info about waht I am actually about to action here, and what the ramifications are.

thats an easy one, we do exactly the same:

they see the course, but with an expired label and cant access it anymore. 

its important to note that the “soft-deadline” feature has to be turned off for it to work.
