Course Progress doesn't reflect 100% completion

Hi all!

Wanted to get your thoughts on how you’re managing course progress % completion in reporting.

We recently added a CSAT survey to the end of all of our courses, which moved our total course objects/training materials to 2 per course. So each course now has a scorm file and a survey.

The issue we’re bumping into is that learners who’ve already completed the course prior to the survey being added to the course are now showing as 50% complete (1/2 objects complete). They completed the scorm but did not complete the optional survey.

In our reports, we now have a lot of users showing as completed for their user status but 50% on course progress. Do you have any recommendations on how we can show 100% complete for new learners who will go through the course and retroactively fixing this for those who’ve already completed? The survey is optional.

sadly that’s the way it works...there’s no way to make a learning object “optional”, nor hide it from specific users…

Maybe you can create a new course with the SCORM package + survey and make the original that only had 1 object an equivalent to the new one. Those users will show as completed on the course with 2 object as a result of the equivalency relationship
