Can anyone give me details on Docebo’s ability to communicate with other software/systems to perhaps restrict user’s access to areas of a facility based on user’s training deficiencies?

Hi Heather,

To me, this sounds like it mostly depends a lot on the other systems you want to interface with. Docebo offers a few ways to get the data out, so the question becomes what your other systems require and what kinds of logic need to be applied.

In your shoes, I would look into Docebo Connect (and, by extension, Workato). If the other services:

  • have existing Workato connectors (or even if they don’t, because you can still use the universal HTTP connector), and
  • their APIs extend to controlling user permissions (or access),

then I’d say this is possible. Not necessarily easy (that depends on how complicated the logic needs to be + your comfort level with low-code automation and APIs generally), but feasible.

Happy to answer any further questions you might have, but please share whatever additional context you can; a lot can depend on the specifics.
