E-learning courses for post-ILT session registrants

Hi out there!  For a number of reasons, like getting better reporting on who watches how much of each presentation recording and the like, my teammates want to create an associated e-learning course for each new VILT course. The e-learning course would have a copy of the recording and any training materials for people who missed the original course. Does anyone have any experience with this type of course management? I suspect they’d want to do this for both standalone courses and those in learning plans. I’m trying to figure out how to route new registrants to the e-learning version once the session has passed. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
