Hello,

Is there anyway to display only a specific channel or channel contents based on the learners group. 

For example: 

  • A client signs in and goes to a page called My Trainings
  • The access a page (or whatever) that displays any recordings of their previous ILT sessions (video assets). 
  • We need this content to be filtered based on their Group
  • They should only see see the assets charged to the channel which is restricted to the group.
  • The page needs to be dynamic in that no matter which learner go to the page that is filtering based on the Group.  IE 1 page that any learner can access and only see their content from the specific channel channel only visible to them.

Previously we did this by having only once channel visible to them and sending them to the ALL Channels page. This no longer works as well since we have opened up many more channels.

Sounds like you should be using the Channel’s Cohort option.

@lrnlab That is almost what we need but not really.  That refers to sharing specific assets and only being viewable by members of your group.  I am an Admin which means it will be viewable by all.

 

Sorry is this for admins or users?

If you have a specific piece of data on their profiles you can use to create a group, you could create a custom page and menu for only that group and still use the “all channels” page. The same could be applicable for admins (as ling as you can group them)
