Hi~ We are in professional services (legal) with a platform designed for internal staff training and are starting to look at utilizing gamification in our platform and would love to hear from others who are in a similar industry on their badge/leaderboard strategy and design if you are willing to share. We are looking at awarding badges for completing specific one off courses or a learning plan and having a series of badges that staff could earn, like a level 1 for completing 5 courses on this topic or earning “expert” status for completing 15 courses on a particular topic, etc.

 

We do not use the rewards shop. We are considering using a contest(s) or more likely,  defined leaderboards for a specific activity we want to incentivize participation but need to be mindful of not overdoing it in the contest area since our staff have billable hours requirements.

If you are willing to share any ideas, your strategy, even how you named or leveled your badges, we would appreciate it. Feel free to send me a private message if you prefer.

Really for us it’s the limited gamification options that are the constraint here. 
 

When Community comes out ideally with more gamification, maybe this will change. Hoping for more options soon.
