We are testing the new session enrollment link and have discovered that the link overrides the enrollment deadline whether it is dynamic or fixed.

This essentially renders the link unusable unless you can enroll learners right up to the minute the class starts which we cannot.

Oh wow! good catch...So it works like the course enrolment link - all access all the time...not great.

Did you ask support about this? Maybe open a ticket to alert them and then post an Idea as they will invariably state that it’s working as designed.

Agree that this would severely limit its use.

I’m working on that right now.

We are also noticing that the session enrollment links are not triggering the calendar invites through Outlook Connect and the email notifications for session registration. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes. We have noticed this and have a ticket in. It’s troubling. We cannot use this link if it does not trigger Outlook calendar invites.

@albb We also opened a ticket, and they told us we had to update our Connect Recipes. Unfortunately, that requires us to pull in our internal technical resources.

We weren’t aware that this new functionality would require a Connect Recipe update - I would recommend to Docebo that they call out other system dependencies associated with product updates when announcing new functionality.

Agreed. We haven’t gotten that response yet but I’m sure it will be the same. Fortunately we have a third party technical resource but each of these updates cost time and money. Also, it never looks good when the system does not function as expected.
