I have a role based page that is displaying three course catalogs as part of their overall learning plan to advance in their position. Some of the courses in the catalogs are not self-enrollable, they must wait until new cohorts start before they are enrolled. For my Power Users, they are able to see these courses in the catalog as locked. Which is what I want. BUT for regular learners, it doesnt show up in the catalog at all. Im trying to figure out how to make it so they can see the locked courses

Hi Tyler,

Do you mean they can see it as locked from a front facing view? Because you can set up power users to have the backend access to the course,

You can create a group of power users and enroll that group into the course and have the course set to only visible if enrolled. However, this will not keep the course locked for the power users in the group that are enrolled, it will appear as open to them.

It looks like my Power Users can see the Course and Thumbnail with the lock screen from a front facing view. But my regular users dont see the course or thumbnail at all when looking at the front facing view of the same catalog.

Hmm, interesting. I now see what you want. is the course published in the course maintenance screen? That is the only thing I can think of possibly causing this issue. After that I would need another expert to jump in.
