Hi.

Here’s my scenario;

  1. A company pays us for a bunch of licences for a course (say 50).
  2. The company then wants send an internal email email / invitiation / link to staff so they can enrol directly into the course.
  3. The user self-registers, and gets access to the course.
  4. Once the licences are consumed (all 50 of them), person 51 cannot access the course until more licences are paid for. In this scenario, no power user is managing licences assignment.

Is this possible? I’ve spent ages looking at subscriptions and have asked Docebo who say “no”, but I think it’s a thing that people will want to commonly do. Has anyone cracked it?

Many thanks

Alan.

Hi @Alan Parker

Here's a revised version of the text:

One possible approach to managing course enrollments is:

1. Enable an enrollment link for the course, which customers can use to share in internal communication.
2. Set a maximum quota of 50 enrollments for the course.
3. (Optional)

4. Create additional enrollment links for the waiting list. If the customer allows more subscriptions, an admin can enroll those on the waiting list.

Another option is to use subscription codes. Once a subscription code is used, it cannot be reused. This can help you control the number of users who enroll in the course.

I hope this helps.

Thank you so much @Rosalie - I think you’ve given me the solution I need!
