I’m finding that Docebo only supports the GIFT format for import of questions to tests, but that format is not common among other LMS and test providers for export in my experience (more common is word, csv/excel or QTI). Does anyone know of any good tools or tricks to convert from csv to GIFT?

I was dealing with this and in the short term opted to manually create the questions. I created an Idea to address this issue

anyone who stumbles on this, I did find this site useful- some angel built a converter tool that supports multiple choice Qs only: https://firstcanvas.com/utilities/gift.html. My tips: you’ll need to cleanup some extra line breaks mid question that cause problems also keep an eye out for some special character encoding that gets wonky. A good regex search and replace can do this cleanup for you- something like Atom or Sublime. And don’t bother with the Categories, they won’t import in Docebo

I found this resource that offers an index of conversion tools that should help you with putting spreadsheets into GIFT format. https://docs.moodle.carleton.edu/wiki/GIFT_format#Word_processor_and_spreadsheet_tools_that_create_GIFTs
