I am trying to dig deeper in ILT sessions:

 

  • How do you indicate passed or failed when scoring an ILT session? Currently completed, unenroll and suspend are the options. Can we add additional fields for pass/fail and add it to this area.
  • How do you set up session notifications for the instructors so they are notified when someone registers for an ILT session. 
  • When I add a user to a session and then go to Enrollments & Evaluations, it shows the enrollment status, "Waiting User". Is there a notification that goes out to the stores for them to approve the session or should I not worry about that and just turn it to "Enrolled" right away?

  • If there is a cut-off time setup for sign-ups, i.e. you cannot sign up 36 hour before session how do I manage this?

  • If the person is a no-show, I put them as "Absent", what do I do under the Enrollments & Evaluations tab? Waiting User, in progress or completed, or was this one of the things you needed to add, like the Failed attempts, you would put cancellation.

  • Do you know if we will still have an email sent to the trainers when someone signs up for a session? If not can we enable this?

Appreciate any and all help I can get. I can connect with someone to learn more as well in a meeting with some others of my team?

There is no concept of tracking a fail. We track the failed evaluation and archive the course in the in progress status to allow the user to re-enrol in another session of the same course

A few points of contention (let me know if I misunderstood something): 

  • It is possible to create a notification for Instructors that a user has registered for a session. 

 

  • It is also possible to send a notification when someone needs to be approved:

     


Will all sessions be visible on the Course Management page so when they have passed, the person that session came off the list.

not sure what you mean...can you please clarify?

All sessions are always visible on the Course Management page > Sessions and you should not delete any even if you archived the enrolments for those sessions and it appears as if no users are enrolled. If you delete the session, the connected data goes with it. There is no way to “hide” past sessions on the admin side. Users however, only see future sessions.
