We recently moved to the new course player and have found that tests include large white margins of unused space. We have test questions that include images. The images are too small for learners to see and cannot expand into these margins. We are brainstorming possible solutions to this issue and would like to see if anyone can offer additional ideas. Our ideas so far have included:

  • Learners zoom in via the browser to better see the images.
  • Add a link to the images so they open in a new tab. This requires learners to navigate back and forth between tabs.
  • Rework our test questions to remove the images.

The following screenshot is an example of one of our test questions. You cannot click on images in tests to view a larger image in a pop out as you can with my screenshot in this post.

I don’t have a solution for you. Just here to say that not being able to click on the images within the test to zoom is a huge pain point for us also.

I agree, a pretty fundamental functionality people are used to in browsers is being able to click to expand an image.  We have some test questions that are very visual and have detailed pictures, so this limitation is hurting the quality of our tests and we’d like to see a workaround or new feature to allow bigger images.

I created a new ideas in the Ideas Portal if you want to upvote it.

@amy.rogers, there’s another idea about this that was submitted about a month ago. I know Docebo has said they will close similar ideas. Do you want to add the information from your idea to the existing idea

ooh good callout @kjanderson. I just upvoted the existing idea. I don’t know how to delete mine but we can push people to the older one since it has more upvotes already.
