We’re going to open a ticket with Support, but I was also curious if anyone else had experienced this issue - a few of our learners reached out today after receiving their digest email of courses in progress. One of their incomplete learning plans is showing up on the Completed page, even though one of the courses is still in progress. The courses due date was 3/31/24, but the course has a soft deadline, so they should still be able to access it.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the learning plan might be on the Completed page even though it’s not complete?

Hi @kfontanini. I’m sure you may have already checked this, but by chance is the course in question set to optional within the learning plan? Learning plan completion will be based solely on those courses in the plan that are set to mandatory, so if you have 5 courses in a plan, and 1 is optional, the learning plan will be considered complete when the 4 mandatory courses are finished.

I actually hadn’t checked that, so I appreciate you mentioning it. Fortunately/unfortunately, that’s not the case here. We were having some miscommunications with Docebo Support yesterday, but we finally got a response today that it has been escalated to Tier 2. The Development Team identified the issue and is in the middle of an ongoing investigation. 

Thank you for your help! I’ll have to keep that in the back of my mind if we ever run into a similar issue again.


We are encountering a similar issue with the status of a learning plan showing complete for the user but there are courses within that are incomplete.  From a reporting standpoint and the user summary screen, they are still showing incomplete but on the user screen, the learning plan card has a Completed status indicator and we are filtering out completed LPs from our primary learning page so these learning plans are dropping off.  We haven’t found a way to determine what users this has impacted but we are getting a lot of reports of discrepancies.  I believe a bug-fix is planned for October 30.
