Learning plan and instructor access

Hi there,

I have a learning plan in place. This plan contains two courses and has a rule in place. You have to complete the first course before you are allowed to access the second course. For learners this makes sense, but for the teacher it doesn't. Is there a way for the teacher to access the second course without being forced to complete the first?

Hi @AnneCS92 - You’d need to create separate Learning Plans if the rule does not apply to both audiences. If the first course is optional for teachers, you can just enroll them in the 2nd Course, so they will not get 2 courses if assigned via LP.

Hi @jlreonal ,

When you put it like that the answer is really so simple. I couldn't figure it out. Thank you!

you could also just mark them as completed for the 1st course. They could still launch the content even if completed

Another easy solution I didn't think of. Thanks!

I do however feel that both look like work-arounds. The default for a teacher in my opinion should be that courses should be easily accesible for everybody marked as a teacher.
