Is there anyway to collect data on where users are clicking? What widgets they are accessing most often? Ideally, I would like to gain insights on what’s most used in the system to enhance our learners experience.

Totally requires some analytics package added. If you just want some light work you could always add fake pixels using like a series of bit.ly links, one per page and widget that you want to track, insert the link as a 1x1 sized image at the bottom of the page or widget. This is very manual and I usually only use temporarily or for a very specific flow I want to track, but does work. It won’t give you crazy information, mostly did it get seen.
