Notification to managers: User has enrolled in a course Shortcodes

I have a notification that needs to go to managers when their direct reports enrol to a course (ideally it would actually be a user has enrolled to ILT session but that’s currently not available).

I want the email to read:

Hi [manager_name],

[direct_report] has enrolled to [course_name]

Can I use the available short codes to achieve this? My understanding is that [first_name], [last_name] and [username] would all apply to the direct report?

This will be a singular [direct_report] and [course_name] so not a digest type notification.

I dont think they cross templates but it never hurts to try. I did find one shortcode I was able to use in a template that was not listed in the options but I cant recall which one it was…

When testing, if you still see the short code in the outputs, the means you cannot use it there.
