Hello,

Is there a way to track metrics on who is clicking on notifications and when they’re doing so? Ideally, I'd like to see a line graph or similar visualization, showing how users and managers interact with notifications over days and months, similar to the graphs in Docebo Insights. It would also be helpful if we could categorize these clicks by Managers, Power Users, Users, and Superadmins to better gauge the effectiveness of our communications across different groups for reporting.

Currently, we have to track notification clicks using a different software, but it would be more efficient if Docebo had this functionality, since it handles our Notifications. Does anyone know if this feature is available?

Hi @Kao,

I can confirm that this capability is not available with Docebo notifications today. You will likely need to use a specific application to help with the tracking of the data.

At a high-level, this would only be compatible with Docebo native notifications if the 3rd-party application were capable of being the primary link within the email notification, in order to capture engagement data. There might be the possibility of identifying categories of links, but it depends on the 3rd-party app capabilities. Then, when a user clicked on the link, it would redirect them to the final destination resource in Docebo. Something along the lines of:

This example is completely hypothetical, but represents how many engagement tracking applications function behind the scenes. I hope this is insightful, at least.
