Notifications - eliminate confusing text pertaining to time zone

Is there a way to eliminate some confusing reference to GMT text for our users?  I have to explain this quite frequently.

It’s a very useful feature for the majority of us that have learners all over the world @monica.cheek 

Out of curiosity, why is confusing that Chicago is GMT minus 5hrs ?

@Stephen.Barton - I guess that just confuses them and they just want to see what their time zone is.  I promise this is not the only person.  I normally respond but lately it seems like this is causing more and more issues since the migration so I thought I’d reach out here.  Yes, we have users all over the world too. Thank you for your message though.
