I feel like I’m missing something simple here, but hope the community can help.

We have courses that we want to prevent users from launching after their enrollment status is marked as complete. For the life of me, I can’t remember how to do this (or if it’s even possible).

I know access to a course can be controlled via the validity period, but we want access to be removed once they have completed the course and not simply because a number of calendar days have passed.

Any ideas?

pretty sure you cannot do that by any automated way...only way I can think of would to change the user enrolment status to “suspended” for all those who have completed the course; or you can manually adjust their ‘active until” date to close access as of a certain date/time.

That’s what I was afraid of. Doing this manually will be a full-time job for one of the administrators. Guess I’ll have to ask our internal development team to see if we can set up an automated task that leverages the API to change the enrollment status or ‘active until’ date.
