We are revisting the launch of the new course player. Now that it has been out longer and hopefully more folks have adopted it.

What is are common issues, questions or feedback that you are getting from your users?  I want to put together a FAQ for my users, but I’m needing some help building it out.  So any insights you all can offer will be so amazing!!!

Side note: I'm playing with the preview right now, and I still feel like there are way too many clicks of buttons to launch a SCORM. 😞 Anyone finding this as well?

@erin.brisson - would you know of a list of things users are working through with the new course player, or could you perhaps help here?  I too have been hesitant to release it before I have to, but that day is going to come sooner rather than later, so this information would be very useful.

The issue we were having during our big annual training, is staff not clicking through everything and then closing out the course thinking they had completed the training. We used emailed screenshots to guide staff and their supervisors toward successful completion.

That is really good to know!  Thank you so much for sharing.  Out of curiousity, what was missing or not easily seen that leanrers couldn’t tell if the course was completed or not?

The left side where the progress, it was the percentage done or the completion circle that staff overlooked or did not see.

Still doesn't sound like its ready yet.

Thank you again @NikkiCBAMSI!  I didn’t even think to look at the training material appearance on the course player, but I played with it and found something interesting!

With the old/current course player we have been directing our users to use the tooltip that appears when you hover your cursor over the training material to help them determine the completion status (we even made help documents to send out!).  Well it looks like this tooltip doesn’t exist in the new course player and support confirmed this is expected behavior.

I added the following idea to see if they can address it. :-)

@Annarose.Peterson We have an issue with SCORM courses being marked as complete as soon as the user uses any of the course navigation.
This can’t be by design, so must be a bug

However for us (and presumably many others) this represents a significant compliance risk as users can either claim, or mistakenly believe, they have completed the required content without having done so.

Any advice on a fix (we can’t edit the SCORM as it is third party (iHasco)
