Unfortunately there is no way to remove the coins from the account that is a readily available feature on the platform. I believe when the badge is removed, this is also called out in the warning before confirming.

I can see why this might be set up this way however as coins can be used for Rewards, you can then run the risk of setting a user into a negative coin balance. When the user purchases a reward, this will remove the coins while in Pending and/or Accepted status.

There are methods to removing coins, in your example - you could set a reward which is called ‘Coins Deduction’ to the value of 50 coins. You would then have to purchase the reward while impersonating the user and accept as the Superadmin.

The other alternative is do not remove the badge and instead deactivate this. Instead create a new badge with a minus value and once granted to the user this will subtract the amount of points and coins.

If you are looking to utilise Gamification on your platform and the Rewards area, it is worth considering your badges are final and ready to deploy as the clean up of this can be quite time consuming.
