Hi y’all! I am receiving an error when trying to preview my Training Materials Report.
Goal: With this report I hope to be able to view the test scores (all attempts) of all users for each lesson.
Problem: I am trying to preview my report and the error “Nothing to preview. The report does not match any data. Please try again using different report filters.” is appearing. I know that there are test scores to report on as I have completed some tests.
Question: Why is this error happening? How can I fix it? What is the best way to achieve my goal?
I have attached images of the filters I have set up and the error page.
I would love some help!

Hey, I’d suggest downloading the report using the button in the top right corner (the arrow pointing down). Sometimes this helps resolve the "Nothing to preview" error. If that doesn’t work, you might need to open a support ticket.
Hi @francesca.vaccarino, thank you for your reply - it is helpful :-)
I did download the report and nothing appeared. I will submit a support ticket now.
Thanks for your help and have a great day!
@Priscillatran I’m not sure that you can get to your goal with this approach. Your question is a bit ambiguous, when compared to how the platform delivers some of this information.
If these are tests within SCORM, AND you want to see the individual choices/responses the learners made, then
You need to publish your courses as Scorm 2004/v3 in order for there to be any data in the LMS regarding the user’s answers.
Assuming #1, the LMS only capture the LAST attempt, overwriting the initial responses. There is some discussion in the forum around branching SCOs, and their ability to capture multiple responses, but I think the conclusion is that Docebo just doesn’t support all quiz attempts at this point.
Assuming #1, the only way to get the data out is from Course Management, not a scheduled exam.
From Course Management, go to your course > Reports > Training Material Statistics > choose the 2nd link in the list > Answers Breakdown.
If these test are in SCORM and you just want to see the final result, then you should be able to set the Training Materials Fields (on the View Options tab of your report) to show the score.
I think the first page of your report is fine; however, as a way of testing the report, you might want to focus it to a single course/user group to make sure you are getting it to work correctly.
when using reports also remember that the data is only refreshed hourly (or less) so if you just tested something and are hoping to see the results in a report you would have to wait for the refresh..YOu can see the last refresh date and time when you to configure a new report, at the top of the report list...
@KMallette Thank you for your thoughtful reply!
Happy to provide some more context to what my goal and question are.
My tests are outside of SCORM. They are there own separate training material that I created natively in Docebo.
I am trying to figure out a way to see all or first attempts of tests as I know there are some capabilities right now:
Going into the “Reporting” tab of the course (pictured below)
Viewing the “First attempt” under Training Materials Fields
The main goal of this report is to give our managers the ability to see how their learners are scoring on each lesson (We have created a test corresponding to each lesson). Ideally I would like it to preview all attempts so that our managers know which courses learners are really struggling in.
@lrnlab Thank you for this tip!
Unfortunately, I have been playing with this report for 2 days now and no matter what filters I have changed or test materials I have completed, I am still getting the same error.
I appreciate your help!
@Priscillatran Thank you for the detail on how you are building the exams...and I learned something myself! Didn’t know that you could capture all of the responses!
If you’ve been working on this report for 2 days, it might be time to reach out to the Help desk.
@KMallette You learn something new everyday and thank you for your help regardless!
Hopefully the help desk can help me further :-)
So we are talking about 2 different things...the native exam has great reporting and can capture all attempts in a report showing the question details, correct answer, user’s choice, correct/incorrect, etc. Great for question analysis.
The other, the Training Materials report is more about statistics and does not contain detailed information from a test or other leaning object, like the questions and answers you can get from the Course Report tab.
@lrnlab Good to hear! How do I pull a report for these native exams and is there a way I can view all scores for all native tests for a user?

you were already there in your post above showing the course reports tab…
on the same tab, you have the option to export the data for a single user or all exam attempts by all users on the Training Materials tab.
this is the single user view:
This is from Training materials:
in my case there are 3 exams but only 1 is active as it was updated over time as we wanted to keep all stats since the course was launched...you can click the exam and get the fill data on the next screen
hope this helps…
Note that this information is not available in any other reports I know of, nor Insights (but that may be coming at some point)…
@lrnlab I would love to see a report for that in the future! This is really helpful - thank you so much!!
Keep checking Insights for updates...there’s much more to come that should eventually cover all aspects of the LMS
