User Waiting To Be Enrolled In A Course- Notification
Hello community,
we have noticed that this notification is only sent if a course has never had a session. However, in our case, every course has had at least one session in the past. We would like to inform our power user group that a learner has booked an ILT course for which no session is currently planned, although there has been a session in the past. We would like to ask for interest in a course or a new ILT session and offer a new ILT session if there are a certain number of people interested. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can inform our power users about this? According to Docebo Support, there is no solution for this.
Best regards,
Andreas

The KB article states that this will be sent for any user who is enrolled in an ILT course but has not yet selected a session - see link below. Have you tested this scenario?
thank you for your reply. Yes we have tested this scenario- However, it only works if there has never been a session in the past.
Docebo has amended the second sentence of this KB article after we reported that the notification does not work if there has ever been a session in the past.
Had another look at the KB and it does say that the course needs to have current or future sessions but only when the user in enrolled only at the course level and ha not sleeted a session...is that what you understand as well?
Thank i’l have to test this again...
My understanding is and what Docebo support also says: Once a course has had a session in the past, this notification is no longer triggered.
This is the answer from Docebo Suport:
After testing in both your instance and my internal platform, I have seen that the notification is only sending when the ILT course has NO sessions created at all. However, if there are sessions already created in the ILT Course, even if these are sessions in the past, then the notification does not trigger.
thanks for the clarification...so they do need to update the KB article with this info...Seems like this is not a very useful notification as it would only work up to the point where you add a session...doesn’t make much sense...
