Hello! We have a request to create a test question that only allows the user to choose ONE correct answer, but there are 3 possible answers. There is one BEST answer that should be worth 1 point. There are 2 other correct answers that are worth .5 each, but the instructor only wants the users to be able to select 1 of the 3 answers. I have searched for options and tested scoring options for both multiple and single response quiz types and nothing has worked so far. Is anyone else doing anything like this?  Thanks in advance!

@melissa.herndon Hi, Melissa … how are you building this exam question? What software? Are you able to assign values to the responses?

If you want them to only select 1 answer, then you’ll need to use a single select question, not a multi-select. The trick is being able to assign the value to the answers.

If you are using something like Articulate Storyline, I believe you can assign the values to the responses.
