In doing some testing, I realize that if we have a learner that gets access to a URL (not auto enrollment link, just the learning plan URL) and they are not logged in, they get directed to the homepage. It drops the URL they came in on, and it doesn’t take them to the content that they were trying to access to begin with. I don’t feel like the system used to work this way. Here’s the flow -
- Learner clicks on a Docebo link
- Learner realizes they are not logged in
- Learner clicks SSO button
- Learner gets logged in
- Learner is directed to landing page
- Learner has to go back and try to dig out the URL they were provided and hope they get to the education they intended to take to begin with
So far this behavior happens consistently with:
- Courses
- Learning Plans
Does not drop:
- Catalog URLs
- Page URLs
Learners are already frustrated they have to relog in since the token doesn’t carry over from the other system they typical come from, needing to reclick the SSO button. Dropping the URL is the new frustration and I’m hopping it’s an advanced setting somewhere I just don’t have ticked. Any thoughts?
