Hi everyone, happy Monday! 🎉

Last week was another very eventful week in Docebo Community. Keep reading to see some of the exciting updates after our first week of being fully live and public!

7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ We are now over 700 members strong!

We are flying through these new member milestones. Only one week ago, we celebrated passing the 400 member mark. At the time of writing this post, we are at 716 members! As has now become customary with these check-ins, I’d like to take a moment to recognize our 500th, 600th, and 700th members.

  • 7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ @lmathis
  • 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ @tpendev
  • 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ @Thomaz

If you’re one of the other ~230 new members who joined us in the past week, welcome! 💙 We are thankful you’re here and can’t wait to get to know you. If you haven’t yet, please go introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself thread. We’d also love to hear from you in the comments below!

🏆  Leveling up

Have you checked out the leaderboard recently? There was a lot of movement on the leaderboard this past week, with some of our Newcomers leveling up at a rapid pace and showing our early adopters that they’re not the only ones that know how to engage with the community and help others! @Swatson joined the ranks of @Stephanie Dreiling and @abartunek as a Helper last week after having best answers marked on two questions from other members. Congratulations to the top 5 members on last week’s leaderboard!

  1. @lrnlab
  2. @Stephanie Dreiling
  3. @abartunek
  4. @joanna.lay
  5. @Annarose.Peterson

Thank you to each and every one of you who continue to contribute to the community day in and day out. We’re all building something great together! Less than a third of our total members (~220) have made it onto the leaderboard, meaning they haven’t posted, replied, or interacted with any content. Things like liking posts, replying to others, creating your own posts, and especially having your replies to questions marked as best answers, can earn you points to climb the leaderboard. Check out the following posts for more info on gamification in the community:

As was expected with the full launch, we saw reduced numbers in a few key areas. Here are a few thoughts on these numbers (select Show Content):

  • Our registration rate dropped by 22%. Before May 17th (our full launch date), we were sending personal email invites to individuals to join the community. These invitations led to higher registration rates because they were more personal and more exclusive. Now that the community is public and available for anyone to register, we imagine we will continue to see visitors stop by, find what they’re looking for, and leave without ever registering for an account. We now measure this rate as Unique Visitors / Registered Users.
  • Our contributions per user dropped by 8%. We also expected this number to go down as we opened the community to more members. Once again, it will become more common for individuals to join the community simply so that they can be notified about new posts and see all of the awesome goodness that our active members are generating. We’ll continue to affectionately refer to this group of non-contributors as our lurkers 🙂If you are a lurker reading this post, know that you are loved, cherished, and appreciated! Feel free to introduce yourself at any time 💙 Or reply in the comments to let us know you’re out there!
  • You all asked more questions, but answered relatively fewer than the previous week. # of questions answered last week dropped by 30%. It’s not too late to reply to unanswered questions! And if you’re an author of a question, it’s not too late to mark a reply as Best Answer!
  • 💥 Here’s an awesome one. You all were able to reduce average response time by 51.5%! This is incredible. In last week’s check-in, I shared that our goal is to keep our average response time below 24 hours. Last week, our average response time was 9h 48m. Well done to all of you!!! There are still some posts without replies, so please check out a few below and help each other out 🤜🤛
