We need to use course additional fields to store information to send to an external server.  We are using Free Form Text, due to the character limit of the Text Field.  However that type always defaults to HTML, and we need to send plain text.  At the moment we have to paste our text in and then switch to code view and remove the <p> tags.  Is there anyway to get this field to default to plain text?
