We need to pass course progress from Docebo into Salesforce, but have not found a way to do this via API or Docebo Connect. Is anyone aware of a way to get this information?

Some background: we are using this for customer training and it is perhaps the most important data to help us understand how active the learner is in the course. I know we can get time spent in the course but we have found that to be so inaccurate (reporting hours when only minutes were spent in the course) that it is effectively useless.

Hey @harnish17!

Are you familiar with or currently using Docebo’s Salesforce native app and integration?

Once you have the sync running successfully, importing enrollments for learners (Users or Contacts depending on how you configure) is a standard functionality. You would need to work within the custom objects that are built to build on the reporting component but the data will be there.

Hi @John, thanks for the quick reply. We are familiar with it, but are not using it. Based on discussions with others at Docebo, it was determined we did not need it. We understood that Connect would meet our needs for Docebo → Salesforce data transfer, as well as providing additional capabilities.

@harnish17, you’re welcome!

On the Connect + SFDC integration needs, I would suggest reaching out to your Account Manager and Customer Success Manager to talk more about the options available. Since we do not yet have an “endorsed” Docebo-built connect integration that’s out of the box, it would need to be scoped by our team. We do have many customers that are using Docebo Connect and SF but the recipes are often unique enough that the copy/paste method isn’t really so applicable…

To extract enrollments from the platform, you could use our Reports and pull any built report’s information out via API. Or you could look at APIs specifically to call and retrieve user enrollment data.
