We have been using the AutomationApp to pull employees via CSV into Docebo for over a year. This week, I noticed new employees being added with missing fields and alternate usernames. Upon checking the Audit log, it appears the User creation switched from the AutomationApp to SAML SSO.

 

Any ideas how or why this changed? I’m still receiving successful CSV import notifications every day, and the SAML SSO user created time and date match what would be expected via the automation.

Check in your SAML app and see if just-in-time user provisioning is turned on. If it is on, check what fields are mapped and if the “update user information toggle” is on. I can see a scenario where users are logging in via SSO and their fields are being updated with what’s in their IDP, not what you might have in file being picked up by the Automation App.
