Hi everyone - I know as we get creative, folks support their own approach with posing to people what content they have due in a queue.

And - that’s great….we have been supporting the tasks widget for years and are at a place where people are used to nuance.

Now we are finding that we are walking a tenuous line as we balance the fact that once a course goes beyond its validity dates? It is removed from the deadlines portion of the task list.

So I wanted to see - how do you all manage around this Docebo-ism? Cant call it a bug. Its a “Docebo” thing.

A better state/behavior is that anything that reaches the Deadlines portion and is given a soft deadline in the task widget is not removed until the learner has completed it.

@dklinger Hiya … hope you had a nice holiday season. To be honest, we wait for somebody to tell us that they can’t get access to a course and then go fix the enrollment/visibility dates. We tell them upfront that they have 60 days to get the learning plan complete in Big. Bold. Red. Text.

We also use the validity dates very sparingly. Like on certification learning plans, not on just standard courses.
